This home radio with digital alarm is stylish but subtle and plays anything. Connect your smartphone or MP3 player to the Aux in to listen to CDs, AM/FM radio, or both. This little design produces powerful sound that is ideal for any environment. Anywhere in your house would look wonderful with the iLive Wireless Home Stereo System. It has top-loading CD player that plays CD and CD-R/RW and 2-channel stereo sound. Utilize the built-in antennae to listen to your preferred AM/FM radio station. Your smartphone or personal MP3 player may be plugged into each system’s 3.5mm audio port. The stereo speakers are removable, giving you greater freedom to position them on your desk, shelf, or counter.

Pairing Bluetooth and Playing Audio Wirelessly

1. Set the Source to BT (Bluetooth) and press the Pair/Stop button. The pairing indicator will begin quickly flashing blue. When pairing, remain within 3 feet of the unit,

2. Using the controls on your Bluetooth device, search for and select IHB227 in your Bluetooth settings to pair. If your device requests a password, enter the default password 0 0 0 0. Ifneed be, refer to the user’s manual for your specific device for instructions on pairing and connecting Bluetooth devices.

3. When successfully paired and connected, a chime will sound and the pairing indicator will turn solid.
   After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to a reset of the device. If your device should become unpaired or you find it is unable to connect, repeat these steps.

4. Use the controls on your connected Bluetooth Device to select and begin playing audio. Use the controls on the connected device or the unit and remote to play, pause or skip audio.

Aux In (3.5mm Audio Input)

Requires 3.5 mm audio input cable (not included).

1. Plug a 3.5 mm audio input cable into the Aux In on the unit and the headphone jack on a smartphone or other audio source
2. Set the source to Aux and use the controls on your connected music player to select and play audio.
3. Audio played through the connected device should now be heard through the speakers.

CD &Radio

Loading and Playing a CD

1. Open the CD tray and place a CD in the tray, label side facing up, then close the CD tray.
2. Set the source to CD mode
3. Use the controls on the unit or the remote to begin playing the loaded disc.

Programming a CD

1. Press the Stop button to stop a loaded CD.
2. Press the Prog button on the remote (’01” will blink on the display.
3. Press the Skip Back/Fwd. buttons to select a track
4. Press the Prog button to add the selected track to the program. Repeat this process to program up to 20 tracks to play in a specified order
5. Press the Stop button to cancel a program.

Playing the AM/FM Radio

AM and FM antennas are built into the unit. Adjust the position of the unit to improve AM/FM radio reception.

1. Set the Source to AM or FM mode.
2. Use the Tune -/+ buttons to tune to a desired radio frequency.

Programming Radio Station Presets

1. In AM or FM mode, tune to a desired frequency and pres5 and hold the Prog/Mem button on the remote.
2. Press the Tune -/+ buttons to select a preset number (up to 20 stations may be set)
3. Press the Prog/Mem button to save the current station to that preset.
4. Press the Mem -/+ button to cycle through your memory presets.

Clock, Sleep Timer & Alarm

Setting the Clock

1. With the unit powered off, press the Clock Set/Mem button on the front of the unit, or the Clock button on the remote. The hour will begin tlashing on the display.
2. Press the Tuning buttons on the front of the unit or the Skip Rev/ Fwd buttons on the remote to set the hour.
3. Press the Clock Set/Mem or Clock button again. The minutes will begin flashing on the display.
4. Repeat Step 2 to set the minutes.
5. Press the Clock Set/Mem or Clock button again to finish setting the time.

Setting the Sleep Timer

1. With the unit powered on, press the Sleep button on the remote. The display will show the amount of time in minutes before the timer goes off
2. Press the Sleep button to select the amount of time before the timer goes off: 90 minutes, 80, 70, etc.
3. Wait for the display to return to normal. “Sleep” will be visible on the display when the timer is on.
4. To turn the Sleep Timer off, perform Step 2 until the display reads “OFF”.

Setting the Alarm

1. With the unit powered oft, press the Alarm button on the front of the unit or the remote. The hour will begin flashing on the display.
2. Press the Tuning buttons on the front of the unit or the Skip Rev/Fwd. buttons on the remote to set the hour.
3. Press the Alarm button again. The minutes will begin flashing on the display.
4. Repeat Step 2 to set the minutes.
5. Press the Alarm button again to set the alarm type. The alarm type will begin flashing on the display.
6. Hepeat step 2 to set the alarm type: Radio, CD or Buzzer.
7. Press the Alarm button again to finish setting the alarm.

Cancelling the Alarm

1. After the alarm has sounded press the Alarm button to cancel it.
2. Press and hold the Alarm button to turn it off entirely. The alarm indicator on the display will disappear.

• What is the M button on my iLive speaker?
  M/Play/Pause A brief press will pause or play audio.

• How do I pair my Bluetooth device with my iLive speaker?
  Hold the Power button down for nine seconds to turn the device on and start pairing. At that point, a voice will say “Bluetooth is connected,” and the indicator will start rapidly flashing blue. When pairing, stay 3 feet or less away from the device. Select ISB19 in the Bluetooth Settings to link using the controls on your Bluetooth device.

• How do I charge my Bluetooth speaker, the iLive?
  Connect the speaker’s DC power input to a regular power outlet using the USB charging cable and a USB power adapter to power the device or recharge the internal battery (not included).

• iLive—is it a Bluetooth?
  You may wirelessly stream music from Bluetooth-enabled devices to your already-installed wired home stereo systems, speakers, or headphones using a Bluetooth receiver.

• Why doesn’t my iLive speaker work?
  Verify that the speaker’s power wire and audio out cord are firmly plugged in and are not torn or frayed. If they are, you should, if you are able to, carefully solder the wires back together. If not, you’ll probably need to have the device’s speakers replaced.
