HomePod Mini should be portable.

The HomePod Mini can be made into a portable WiFi or Bluetooth speaker with this battery base, dramatically enhancing the usability of the smart speaker. Your speaker may be carried around, effectively making it wireless for up to 7.5 hours.

Managed Cable Integration

To prevent clutter, you may tuck the USB Type C power cord away inside the battery base using the built-in cable slot. This rechargeable battery pack may be plugged into any USB-C power source for power charging and then unplugged for portability purposes.

Simple & Quick Setup

No tools are required for easy tool-free attachment to the HomePod Mini. The battery base does not come with a charger. Use the original adapter that came with your HomePod Mini to directly charge the E06 battery base.

Up to 5 Hours of Battery Life

The inbuilt high-performance lithium-ion battery in the Mission Battery Shell enables up to 5 Hours of Continuous Playback. Battery status is indicated via the Smart LED Battery Gauge.

• Do the smaller HomePod models come with batteries?
  The HomePod mini can’t go with you to a day at the pool, park, or pretty much anyplace else without a plug, though, because it lacks a built-in battery. Despite the fact that this speaker has a lot to offer, it lacks the necessary portability.

• Can a battery pack run the HomePod Mini?
  The HomePod mini uses a USB-C connection to connect to a charger even though it is intended to be plugged into an outlet. It is feasible, albeit impractical, to operate the HomePod mini remotely with a powerful enough USB-C battery pack.

  No, an electrical outlet is necessary for an Apple HomePod. Despite images of the device appearing on Apple’s website, the HomePod does indeed have a power cord. A regular electrical socket is connected to the power cord, which is attached to the base of the HomePod. Since the HomePod has no batteries, it cannot be charged.

• Is the HomePod Mini portable outside?
  The HomePod is not waterproof, to start. This means that there won’t be any precipitation, pool splashes, sprinklers, snow, etc. on the HomePod. The HomePod probably doesn’t perform well in the hot sun, either. To put it another way, if taking the HomePod outside is your thing, be sure to keep it dry and shaded.

• Is the HomePod Mini compatible with Bluetooth speakers?
  You cannot use a HomePod Mini as a Bluetooth speaker, even if it does use Bluetooth for some connectivity. A HomePod Mini can only play audio when connected to an Apple product, such as an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, iMac, or Apple TV.

• Can you leave it plugged in all the time and only unplug it when you want to move it?
  Yes, leaving it plugged in all the time will not hurt the battery.

• Why is there a shipping charge?
  There was a shipping charge because in our initial product release we were selling these as merchant fulfilled. However, in the next few days there should be some of these battery bases arriving to Amazon for fulfillment from Amazon. These will have free shipping for Prime members.

• When will this be available in the UK?
  This should be available in the UK in the next 1-3 weeks. We apologize for the delay.

• It’s gone from your website, and there’s no option for black here. I really want black but will take white if they’re discontinued. Will you get more?
  We have more of the black Mission Battery Base for HomePod Mini coming soon. They should be in stock in the next 2-3 weeks. We apologize for the delay.

• Does anyone have suggestions of floor speaker stands that would work great with the mission base?
  Not quite sure I understand your concern. These are small devices that hold the HomePod mini… they can be put anywhere than using the battery function. So you could put them on any desk, dresser, cabinet, table or stand. No special ‘stand’ is needed.

• Can you rotate the HomePod mini within this mount? put it on its side?
  I am not sure why you would want to put the HomePod Mini on its side within the Mission Base? The top of the mini is touch-sensitive for volume +/- and would be partially obscured by the cup of the Mission Base.

• What is the battery life?
  I just took this on a road trip with my wife for music in the hotel room. I left and drove 7 hours to our destination with the unit on (I forgot to turn it off when I packed it). Left it on in the room, unplugged, it overnight, and still had power the next morning when I plugged it into recharge.

• When will the black one be back in stock?
