General information

  • Before using the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven for the first time, make sure that this manual has been thoroughly read. It is advisable to keep the manual including the packaging, the sales receipt and the warranty certificate.
  • The Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is only suitable for private use and to be used in accordance with the specified operating procedure.
  • Ensure that the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is protected in all cases from heat, direct sunlight, moisture or liquids and sharp edges. The appliance is therefore not suitable for outdoor use. Disconnect the power supply immediately
  • if it becomes wet or damp. Always handle the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven with dry hands.
  • Ensure that the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is switched off and the power supply is disconnected, by removing the plug from the wall socket, if the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is not in use. This also applies when attaching fittings,
  • cleaning and troubleshooting the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven.
  • Always switch off the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven when not in use and never leave it unattended. Disconnect the power supply by removing the plug from the wall socket.

Intended use

The Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is intended exclusively for preparing puff pastry parcels, thin pizzas and flammkuchen. The appliance is intended solely for the purposes and according to the operating instructions described in this document. The Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is intended for home use, damage or injury may result from any other use. The manufacturer shall never be liable for any damage resulting from this.

Unpacking the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven

  1. Take the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven out of the box.
  2. Make sure that foil, filling material, cardboard, cable ties and other packing
  3. Che ecessary parts are present
  4. If the appliance shows any damage or if all the parts are not present, do not use the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven, but return it immediately to the vendor.
  5. Close the handle on the terracotta lid.

Before using the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven for the first time, read the chapter “Cleaning” thoroughly. There may be dust or other residue on the appliance, which could cause damage.

Additional information on use
Rising dough can come into contact with the heating element; ensure that the dough used is not too thick.

Observe the following elements when determining the baking time:

  • The environment
  • think of: temperature and draught.
  • The type of dough
  • The topping
  • The number of bakes

The terracotta lid keeps the pizza and other baked goods at the right temperature by trapping the heat.

Connecting to the mains

  1.  Check the rating plate for information on the power supply and ensure that it corre-sponds to the mains voltage to be used before plugging it in.
  2.  Use only a properly installed and shock-proof socket.

Usage

  1. Check that the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is switched off.
  2.  Raise the “UP” side of the base plate and place it (with the curves pointing upwards) on the tray so that the heating elements lie open in the recesses.
  3.  Place the terracotta lid over the base
  4.  The appliance has 30 minutes’ preheating time. Connect the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven to the mains power supply and switch it on using the on/off switch.
  5.  Cut out the correct amount of prepared dough using the cutting ring.
  6.  Fill the dough rounds with ingredients of your choice and place the pizza on the pizza scoop.
  7. Place the pizza scoop with the pizza on the base plate by inserting it into the opening of the terracotta lid.
  8. When the ingredients are cooked and the dough turns light brown, the pizza can be removed.
  9. Repeat steps 5 to 9 for an extra portion.

Discontinuing use

  1. Make sure that the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven is switched off and then remove the power plug from the wall socket.
  2. Wait until the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven has cooled down completely.

Cleaning

DANGER
Let the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven cool down completely!

  • Always remove the plug before cleaning.
  • Never immerse the Foresta
  • Mini Pizza Oven in water, as this may cause a fire or an electric shock.

CAUTION
Aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents are strongly discouraged. Steel brushes or other abrasive cleaning materials are strongly discouraged.

It is advisable to clean the base plate and the pizza scoops with warm soapy water after each use.

The base and the terracotta lid:

CAUTION
Make sure the terracotta lid has cooled down completely before cleaning it with water, otherwise the lid may crack.

  • Use a damp cloth when cleaning the lid and base.
  • Take care that the terracotta lid does not absorb any water and allow it to dry in the open air.
  • Wait for the lid to dry completely before using the Foresta Mini Pizza Oven again.

Preparation

Then it’s finally time to make pizza! Before using the pizza oven, let it warm up well. Grease the spatula with a layer of olive oil and the bottom of the pizza base with flour before putting the dough base on the spatula.
The basis of a pizza is tomato sauce or tomato paste. You can buy this ready- made or make your own.

Grated cheese, matured or old cheese, goat cheese, feta, mould cheese, cream cheese.

Chicken breast, Ham, Salami, Bacon, tuna, shawarma, minced meat, salmon or shrimps

Mushrooms, spinach, (red) onion, paprika, avocado, rocket or iceberg lettuce (put on top when your pizza is ready), courgette and (sun-dried) tomatoes.
Fruit
Pineapple, peach, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, (dried) figs.
