Controller with thermostat
Start-up operation
Important
This heating pad is equipped with an integrated thermostat, which regulates
the temperature automatically and keeps the heat at a constant level. The
temperature of the heating pad corresponds to the maximum permissible value of
the applicable IEC regulation regarding user safety. The device generates a
mild heat that does not have any harmful effect. Place the heating pad in the
cover. Ensure that the power cord and the thermostat are outside of the cover.
Close the zipper. Before switching the heating pad on, please ensure that the
operating element is in the “OFF” position. Then insert the power plug into
the power outlet.
Temperature setting
Use the controller to set the desired temperature. The heating pad switches on automatically when the controller is set to a temperature, and the corresponding LED light will light up. The heating pad shuts off and the LED light goes out if the thermostat is set to “OFF”.
Attention
Please ensure that the heating pad sits loosely, i.e. some air circulates
between the heating pad and your skin during use. Accumulation of heat must be
prevented. Never use the heating pad without the cover.
Automatic off
The electric heating pad shuts off automatically after 90 minutes of continuous use. This saves energy and provides additional safety, because the heating pad is never used without supervision. The LED light will blink. In order to switch the heating pad back on, first set the controller to “OFF” and then back to the desired temperature. After use please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
