Whenever you work under the vehicle be sure that it is located on level, solid ground and is supported by adequate safety stands! Remember: Hot asphalt will not support most jack stands!

NOTE: Read Before Starting Installation
- 1967 Models – These mounts are for the “Narrow frame only, upper rail approximately 1 1/2″ wide. For 1963- early 67 Wide frame (approx. 2” wide), use Doug’s part number SK102-A.
- Doug’s motor mount brackets are designed to work with Doug’s transmission crossmember SKC102, Any other brand of crossmember will not necessarily fit and driveline angles will be incorrect causing vibrations.
- Doug’s Oil Pan, part # SKOP100 is required to clear the frame crossmember. 4th Gen Camaro motor mount isolators, GM part #22179266, Anchor #3064 or Energy Suspension #3-1151 are required to complete the installation.
- These mounts are designed for 2WD trucks with the “Truck Arm” coil spring rear suspension only.
- Doug’s offers Long Tube Headers for this swap, #D3348 and a complete bolt on 3″ exhaust system #DES102. Patriot Cast iron LS manifolds may also be used with this swap, #H8097.
INSTALLATION
- Check that all the parts are in the kit before starting. If you are unsure, contact Doug’s Tech department at 909 599-5955
- With old engine and transmission removed, remove the original motor mount brackets from the frame. Clean the mounting area and paint if necessary to stop rust from occurring.
- Bolt the Doug’s brackets to the frame using the supplied 3/8” hardware. The brackets sit on top of the frame rails with the two bolt holes on top. The left and right are different and will only fit one way. Snug, but do Not tighten at this time.
- Install the Camaro isolators to the motor and lower the motor into position. Install the supplied M12 x 140mm bolts to attach the isolators to the brackets. Do not tighten yet.
- With the truck sitting level, adjust the motor left to right until it is level and then tighten the bracket to frame bolts followed by the isolator to bracket bolts.
- With the brackets firmly in place, you can now move on to the Doug’s transmission crossmember installation.

This product is designed for swapping a non-original engine into a vehicle that did not offer it. Laws vary by state regarding emissions regulations for engine swaps. This product is lllegal for Street or Off Highway use on any 1975 or newer vehicle originally equipped with a catalytic converter and may further be illegal depending on state or federal engine swap emissions laws regardless of vehicle year and would therefore only be legal for Closed Course Competition use. All Doug’s Headers and Exhaust products are guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from date of purchase. This warranty covers the replacement or repair of the product and does not cover the cost of removal and installation, customer applied coatings, or Any discoloration or corrosion of finished surfaces. Damage or product failure resulting from colision, improper installation, off road use, road hazards, the use of exhaust insulating wrap, or rust occurring after installation is not covered by the warranty. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser. Should a part be deemed defective, it should be returned to the original selling retailer and must be accompanied by the sales receipt. If there is no retailer in your area, contact PerTronix direct for a return authorization and return the part prepaid to the factory for inspection. PerTronix reserves the right to replace or repair the alleged defective part and return the part freight collect.
