Product Overview

The UNIQLO doorbell, equipped with a wireless intercom system, combined with the doorbell and intercom functions, realizes to talk with visitors without opening the door. Better protects the people in the house and more safety for people living alone.

Bell Press the outdoor unit bell to call the indoor unit, the indoor unit

will ring (“ding-dong” or music) to remind visitors to come.
VOL| Volume| 3 levels of volume for choice. Factory default is the second level. Press once, and add to the biggest third volume. Press twice, it will turn to the first volume. (2.3.1.2…loop)
| Doorbell music| Press it to choose your favorite ringings.
| Channel| 3 channels for choice. A, B, C.
Please check and make sure that indoor and outdoor units’ channels are the same. Please check its corresponding frequencies and CDCS CODES in Table 2.
| Power| Turn on/off when pressing and holding for 3 seconds.
| TALK button| After receiving a voice from the indoor unit, press and hold the talk button to speak. (Speaking time, within the 60s)
| Led indicators| Blue light indicates pairing status, Red light indicates the power.

3.2. Installation
3.2.1. Indoor Unit installation
Already assembled, ready for charging and using. Please put it in the charging dock for charging while not used to avoid missing visitors caused by out-of- power.

3.2.2. Outdoor Unit installation
A. Fix the solar stand with screws on the wall. (Picture 3)
B. Then fixed the outdoor unit on the panel with screws

Charge

4.1. Charging dock
Both indoor and outdoor units need to be charged before use.
Put them in the charging dock to charge them in turns. There is a charging indicator in the dock, a red light means charging, and a green light means fully charged. If the indicator light doesn’t turn on, please adjust the unit charging position.

4.2. USB Cable
Both units could be taken off the battery and charged the batteries alone by a USB cable.
Here are the steps:

  1. Remove the screws of the front cap, then take off the cap. Pull off the bottom battery and then charge it via a USB cable. (as pictures)

*The outdoor unit has a solar panel for auxiliary charging, which can supply its daily standby power. In order to make sure its service power, please fully charge it before use.
Note:

  1. Please always put the indoor unit in the charging dock to charge to avoid missing any visitors if out of power.
  2. When the outdoor unit is under low battery status, there is a slow flash red light in its right-up corner, please charge it in time.
  3. The charging time of both units is around 5 hours, Usually, the outdoor unit could work a year after being fully charged.
  4. Due to the charging time needing hours, in order to avoid missing visitors, please exchange the indoor unit’s and outdoor units’ batteries.

Instruction

5.1. Doorbell Function
5.1.1.Power on/off
Indoor unit
Power on: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, there is a ‘beep~’ sound for power on the notification.
Power off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, there is a ‘bi, bi’ sound for the power off notification.
Outdoor unit
Power on: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, there is a ‘beep~’ sound for power on the notification.
Power off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, there is a ‘bi, bi’ sound for the power off notification.

5.1.2. Channel Pairing
There are 3 channels for choice. Make sure that both units are in the same channel so that the machines could work. The factory default setting is the same.

When both units are in the same channel, press the outdoor unit bell key , and the indoor unit will be ringing(‘ding dong’ or other music) to remind visitors. Kindly remind, that only the outdoor unit can start a ringing, the indoor unit doesn’t have this function.

5.2. Intercom Function
When people hear the indoor unit’s sounds (‘ding dong’ or music), they can press any button on the indoor unit to stop the ringing, And then press and hold the TALK button to speak, like “Hello! Who’s speaking?”, then release the button when finished speaking. (The outdoor unit is the same way for speaking) After receiving the reply from the outdoor unit, press and hold the TALK button to reply.

  1. To save power, the outdoor machine will fall into sleeping mode if it does not detect operations within 25 seconds. Under sleeping mode, the indoor machine will be unable to talk with the outdoor machine. However, if anyone clicks the CALL button of the outdoor machine, it will be activated and the indoor machine can talk with it after receiving the ringing.
  2. Under the sleeping mode of the outdoor unit, the indoor unit cannot talk with the outdoor unit. Only the outdoor machine is initiated by pressing its belly button, and the indoor machine can talk after receiving its ringing.
  3. TOT transmission time limit: In order to effectively protect the circuit device and wireless frequency occupation, the transmission intercom could not exceed 60 seconds. When the talking time is over 60 seconds, the machines will have a long beeping sound, the sound will disappear after releasing the TALK key, and the message could not transfer to other machines. You need to operate it again within 60 seconds.
  4. Short press buttons can call other radio intercom devices of the same frequency. Press the TALK button to talk. When setting the same frequency as other devices and the doorbell units, they could be connected and talk.

There are 3 colors of the indicator lights, red, green, and blue.
Different colors and flashing mean different statuses.

Pairing

6.1. Re-pairing
If the machines are out of pairing, the bell functions will be not working. Please re-pair it as the following steps:

  1. Make sure the channels of both units are the same, press the indoor pair button, and the pairing indicator blue light will be flashing, which means entering into pairing mode.
  2. Then press the bell button of the outdoor unit, there is a “di” sound and the blue flashlight turns off, which means the pairing is completed.

6.2. Add Additional Units
6.2.1. Adding Extra Outdoor Units
If adding extra outdoor units to connect with present units, you need to repair them.
Here are the steps:

  1. Make sure the channels of the extra units are the same as the existing units, press the extra outdoor unit’s pairing button, and the indicator blue light will be flashing, which means entering into pairing mode.
  2. Then press the bell button of the original outdoor unit, there is a “di” sound and the blue flashlight turns off, which means the pairing is completed.

6.2.2. Adding Extra Indoor Units

Troubleshooting

Most issues that arise can easily be resolved by changing the settings on your intercom doorbell.

Common Trouble Solutions
The intercom works well, but no ring Out of pairing, please re-pair it.
Both intercom and ring not working Check channel first, then re-pair it
The outdoor unit does not work Charge it first and then re-pair it.

Connect with QNIGLO Intercom System

UNIQLO intercom doorbell can connect with the QNIGLO Intercom system. Please check Table2 for the corresponding channel&code for connection.
Note:

  1. When you set the corresponding Channel&code, the doorbell can talk with our brand intercom.
  2. Click the CALL button of the outdoor machine, the intercom will not ring even set the corresponding channel&code. However; Click the ON/OFF button for the indoor machines, and the intercom will ring. The outdoor machine can only talk with the intercom, but can not CALL and give a ring alert before talking. The indoor machine can communicate and make the intercom ring the bell as well.
