Introduction

With iLive’s fully wire-free earbuds, forget about cords. You may enjoy real wireless freedom in elegance without having to deal with unsightly cords that impede your movements or get in the way. The ergonomically created simple design fits in your ear and provides hours and hours of relaxation. The bundled charging case can fully recharge your earphones in between your longest listening sessions in addition to protecting them while you store them. Right and left earphones are already paired with one another out of the box, so all you need to do is pair them with your preferred Bluetooth-enabled device. These ‘buds stand out from the competition thanks to its one-key control of Bluetooth, play, pause, phone, on/off, and voice prompts.

CHARGING THE EARBUDS

  1. Open the cover and place the earbuds in their docking stations. Be sure to press down so the earbuds make contact with the charging tip.
  2. Press the Power button on the case to power it ON and charge the earbuds.
  3. When charging, the LED Indicators on the earbuds will turn red. When charging is complete, the indicators on the earbuds will turn blue then off.

INITIAL LINKING EARBUDS & PAIRING BLUETOOTH

Earbuds auto power ON when removed from the case. If not, press and hold the Function button, and they will automatically link to each other after a few seconds. A beep will indicate earbuds are connected.

  1. With the earbuds linked, you can now connect to your Bluetooth device. The LED indicator on both of the earbuds will flash blue, indicating it is ready to pair to a Bluetooth device.
  2. On your Bluetooth device, access Bluetooth Settings and search for nearby devices. Select IAEBT300 when it is discovered. When successfully connected to your Bluetooth device, the LED indicator will slowly flash blue and a voice prompt will announce the connection.
  3. Audio played through the connected Bluetooth device will now be heard through both earbuds. Use the controls on the connected device to play audio and adjust volume.

NOTE
 To use a single earbud, take one earbud out of the case, it will auto POWER ON and the LED Indicator will flash blue and red, indicating it is ready to pair a Bluetooth device and start from step 2.

PLEASE NOTE
 Due to the nature of truly wireless earbuds, you may experience slight interruptions with your audio in areas with multiple 2.4Ghz bands or in high wireless traffic areas.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the earbuds experience any static, delay or cutting out of sound follow these steps.

  • Make sure the earbuds are fully charged.
  • Power the earbuds OFF, then ON again. Let them reconnect automatically and try playing audio again. Repeat if needed.

If the earbuds should become unpaired or will not connect normally, open your device’s Bluetooth Settings Menu and follow these steps.

  • Disconnect, then reconnect to the earbuds.
  • If the problem persists, delete the earbuds from the list of available devices (“‘Forget This Device”).
  • Turn Bluetooth OFF then ON again, and repeat the Initial Bluetooth Connection steps.

If two earbuds cannot link successfully, press and hold to POWER OFF and POWER ON of each earbud again, the LED indicator on both of the earbuds will flash blue and red slowly.

  • Quickly press the left earbud twice to link the earbuds. A beep will indicate earbuds are connected.
  • Then repeat the Initial Bluetooth Connection steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How are genuinely wire-free earphones set up?
    When connecting earbuds: To turn on both earphones, hold down the Function button for a few seconds. Red and blue LEDs on each earbuds will rapidly flash. To pair the earphones, quickly click the Function button on the right one.

  • My Ilive truly wireless earbuds won’t connect?
    Press and hold the Function button on both earbuds until they begin to blink blue and red to manually connect the earbuds. When they successfully link, one of the earbuds’ indicator LEDs will start blinking blue and red. They will then automatically pair with one another. The connection will also be announced through voice prompt.

  • How do the volume controls on my Ilive earbuds work?
    To turn on, hold down the button. Press quickly twice to raise the volume (RIGHT). Press quickly twice to reduce loudness (LEFT). Press three times quickly to advance (RIGHT).

  • How can I link my phone to my Ilive Bluetooth headphones?
    To turn on the device and start pairing, press and hold the Power/Pair button for 7-9 seconds. The red and blue pairing indicator will start rapidly flashing. When pairing, stay 3 feet or less away from the device.

  • Why does one of my Bluetooth earbuds only function?
    Depending on the audio settings on your headset, it might only play in one ear. So, make sure the mono option is off in your audio properties by checking your audio properties. Make sure the voice levels on both earbuds are balanced as well.

  • How do really cordless earphones function?
    Right and left earphones are already paired with one another out of the box, so all you need to do is pair them with your preferred Bluetooth-enabled device. These “buds” stand out from the competition thanks to voice prompts and one-key controls for Bluetooth, play, pause, phone, and on/off.

  • Why do neither of my earbuds allow me to hear?
    There may be a variety of causes for a pair of headphones to only output audio to one ear. The wires around the audio jack have most frequently been bent back and forth so many times that they have created a short in the wiring, which is the most typical cause of sound coming out of only one side.

  • Why won’t my wireless earbuds connect to each other?
    Your device’s Bluetooth setting should be disabled. Earbuds will automatically turn on when you remove them from the case. To manually sync them, double-press the left and right earbuds at the same time. NOTE: Give it another shot if it doesn’t work the first time.

  • With a charging case, how do you utilize true wireless earbuds?
    Put the earphones inside the charging case, then click the power button to start charging. 2. Red indicates that the earphones are charging, and Blue indicates that they are fully charged. The case gives the earbuds 2.5 full charges when it is fully charged.

  • How durable are iLive wireless earbuds?
    The speaker casing can last up to five hours at half volume and the earphones up to six hours at half volume, according to iLive.
