Product Usage Instructions

Safety Information:
Read all instructions before using the laminator. Ensure the appliance is not used by children or individuals who cannot follow safety guidelines. Do not use cardboard carrier pouches, metal, or plastic objects with the laminator.

Using Your Laminator:

  1. Remove the laminator from packaging and place it on a flat surface.
  2. Ensure there is space for pouches to pass through without obstruction
  3. Plug the machine into a suitable power outlet.
  4. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the laminator.

Cold Lamination:
To start cold lamination, turn on power and select the ‘Cold’ mode. Ensure the machine is cool before using cold lamination and avoid using it immediately after hot lamination.

Hot Lamination:

  1. Select the appropriate ‘Hot’ mode based on the pouch thickness
  2. Wait for the machine to heat up, indicated by the blue LED staying steady.
  3. Insert the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the machine first.
  4. After insertion, let the pouch move through and exit the machine without leaving it inside for more than 10 seconds.
  5. Turn off the laminator after use and unplug it from the power supply.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

  • Unplug the laminator when not in use or before cleaning.
  • Wipe clean with a dry cloth; do not use flammable substances on the laminator.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified professional.

  • Read all instructions before using.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Always operate this product on a flat surface.
  • Do not operate under or near curtains or other combustible materials.
  • Do not place the appliance near a heat source or in direct sunlight.
  • Do not place fingers, hair, loose clothing and jewellery near the pouch entry hole as serious injury may occur.

KNOW YOUR APPLIANCE

  • Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.
  • Cardboard carrier pouches must not be used with this laminator as it may cause jamming or damage to the laminator.
  • The objects to be laminated cannot be metal or plastic objects (iron, copper, aluminum etc.).
  • Do not insert anything into the machine other than laminating pouches.
  • The machine is only to be used for laminating.
  • The top of the laminator will become hot during use, please do not touch.
  • Do not block the pouch exit hole or the pouch will jam inside the machine and cause a hazard.

USING YOUR LAMINATOR

  1. Remove the laminator from the packaging and unwind the cord to its full length.
  2. Put the laminator on a flat surface. Ensure there is enough space at the front and back of the laminator when in use for pouches to pass through without obstruction.
  3. Plug the machine into a suitable power supply outlet.
  4. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in OFF position before plugging in the laminator.

COLD LAMINATION

Turn on power and select the ‘Cold’ mode to start the cold lamination, the blue LED will illuminate when ready for cold lamination.

NOTE :

  • Ensure the machine is cool when using Cold lamination.
  • Do NOT use cold lamination if the machine has just completed a Hot/thermal lamination job.

HOT LAMINATION

  • Press the “temperature selection button” to select the correct ‘Hot’ mode according to the thickness of the thermal laminating pouch, the machine will start to heat up. After 1~2 minutes, the blue LED will illuminate and stay steady when the machine has reached the correct operating temperature. The machine is ready to laminate thermal laminating pouches.
  • Prepare the laminating pouch for inserting into the machine. Load the paper centrally into the pouch against the pre-sealed edge.
  • Do not use pouches thicker than 125micron.

NOTE:

  • Ensure the sealed edge of the laminating pouch is inserted into the laminator first.
  • When the laminator has reached operating temperature, the pouch can be inserted into the machine until it engages with the rollers. Always insert the pouch with the closed edge into the machine.
  • Do NOT insert the pouch with open edge into the machine, this may cause the machine to jam.
  • The pouch will move through the machine and exit at the other side. Take out the pouch immediately. Do NOT leave it in the laminator for more than 10 seconds.
  • Turn the laminator OFF after use.
  • Remove the plug from the power supply.

ATTENTION:

  • Do NOT laminate heat sensitive paper.
  • For optimal lamination performance, the suitable room temperature is 18~25℃.

CLEAR A JAMMED POUCH
This laminator is designed with anti-jamming technology. In the case of a misfeed occurring, first turn the laminator off, then press the Jam Release Lever and pull the pouch out manually.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the laminator when not in use or before moving or cleaning.
  • Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
  • Do not spray any flammable gas or oil on this laminator, it may cause a fire.
  • If the power supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified electrician to avoid a hazard.
  • Never remove the cover or dismantle the machine, no serviceable parts inside.

TROUBLESHOOTING

In the unlikely event of difficulties with your appliance please follow the trouble shooting guide below.

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Appliance does not Start. The mains plug is not

plugged in, or the switch is off.

| Insert the mains plug. Turn the switch on.
Pouch is not exiting the machine at the other side.| If jammed, can’t reverse automatically.| Unplug the laminator and

clear the jammed pouch as per instructions.

NOTE: The pouch may be jammed inside the unit if the size of the document is too small. It is highly recommended to follow the below suggestion to add the document into the pouch for laminating.
