Safety information

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND SAVE THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

General guidelines

  • Consult the appliance’s operating instructions for details on cleaning and maintenance.
  • This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or without prior experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or if they have been given instructions on how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the risks involved.
  • Children should not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Follow the precautions when installing the appliance as they are set out in the appliance’s instructions.
  • The power socket must remain accessible or a switch must be installed in the wiring system in accordance with the installation rules so that the appliance can be disconnected from the power supply network whatever the circumstances.
  • Consult the product information on the leaflet attached to the instructions to find out whether the appliance is an integrated or freestanding product.
  • If the appliance is an integrated product, refer to the diagram in the appliance’s operating instructions to comply with the following points:
  • Dimensions and position of the means used to support and fasten the appliance in this space.
  • Minimum clearance between the different parts of the appliance and the surrounding structure.
  • Minimum dimensions of air vents and their correct arrangement.
  • Connection of the appliance to the power supply network.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales department or similarly qualified persons to avoid any danger.
  • If the appliance is an integrated product, the instructions for securing it inside the surrounding unit, as set out in the instructions for using the appliance, must be observed.
  • Adhesives must not be used insofar as they are not considered to be a reliable means of fastening.
  • Please respect the maximum and minimum inlet water pressures specified in the technical specifications of the sheet attached to the instructions.
  • If the connection to the water supply network of the appliance is removable, new connection kits must be used during installation. Do not reuse worn connection kits.

Specific instructions

  • This appliance is designed to wash the maximum number of items indicated in the product information sheet on the leaflet attached to the instructions.
  •  The door should not be left in the open position as this could cause a tipping hazard.
  • This tableware must be loaded according to the loading plan detailed in the instructions for using the appliance.
  • CAUTION: Knives and other sharp utensils should be placed in the basket with the tips pointing downwards or in a horizontal position.
  • This appliance is only intended for household use. It is not suitable for use in similar applications such as:
  •  Kitchen areas reserved for staff in stores, offices and other professional environments.
  • Farms and use by guests in hotels, motels and other residential environments.
  • Bed-and-breakfast type environments.
  • Catering and other similar applications except retail.
  • If the appliance has vents or ventilation openings at its base, these openings must not be blocked by a carpet.

Additional instructions

  • The ECO programme is suitable for washing normally soiled dishes. It is the most efficient programme in terms of the combined consumption of energy and water. It is used to assess the appliance’s compliance with the European ecodesign legislation.
  • Loading the household dishwasher up to the rated capacity indicated in the Product Information Sheet attached to the instructions helps to save energy and water.
  • The dishes must be loaded correctly according to the loading plan in the appliance’s instructions.
  • If the loading plan isn’t followed, the tableware will not be properly washed or dried, first and foremost. What’s more, it could result in some of the appliance’s components getting broken. Do not:
  • block the spray arm of the appliance.
  • obstruct the release of the washing product in the dispenser.
  • Manually pre-rinsing the tableware increases the consumption of energy and water. It is not recommended.
  • Washing tableware in a dishwasher generally uses less energy and water than washing dishes by hand when the household dishwasher is used according to the appliance’s instructions.
  • The values concerning the duration of the programme and the energy and water consumption for all the washing programmes offering a cycle are specified in the instructions for use of the appliance.
  • The values given in the appliance’s instructions for the programmes, other than the ECO programme, are rough guides.

  • This appliance is only for washing dishes in a domestic setting and should not be used for professional, commercial or industrial setting, under any circumstances.
  • The appliance should not be transported alone and should not be transported on its front (door side).
  • WARNING : Keep the packing materials and accessories out of the reach of children. Never let children play with the packaging or accessories.
  • DANGER: Never use the appliance outdoors.
  • Do not install the appliance on a carpet or similar floor covering.
  • The appliance must not be installed behind a locking door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the side opposite that of the appliance, thus preventing the appliance from fully opening.
  • WARNING : The appliance must be connected to a mains socket with a protective earth connection. The appliance must not be connected via an extension cable or power strip
  • CAUTION: Do not bend, crush or pinch the power cable or the water hoses behind the appliance. Leave sufficient space behind the appliance so that it does not come into direct contact with the mains socket, water inlet or drain.
  • DANGER: Do not connect the appliance to the mains with wet hands, as this could result in an electric shock.
  • CAUTION: Use only dishwasher salt in the appliance’s water softening system and fill the tank using a funnel. Risk of corrosion and perforation of the tank or parts of the appliance. If you spill any salt while filling the softener, immediately rinse the deposit or start a washing programme. Take extra care when starting a programme with a delayed start if your appliance has this option.
  • CAUTION: Use caution if you have to manually open the door during a wash cycle. Risk of burns from scalding water spray.
  • Any cleaning and/or in-depth maintenance work done on the appliance must be conducted with the electrical outlet disconnected and the water inlet valve closed.
  • Do not use a steam cleaner when cleaning the appliance.
  • In the event of a malfunction which cannot be resolved with the information provided in the operating instructions for the appliance, contact the after-sales service.

Appliance under warranty

  • Request support for your device through the above website. Or
  • Call the service using the phone number specified on your sales receipt/invoice.
  • The warranty is set at 2 years* minimum after the purchase of the new appliance, and covers the costs of shipments home, on-site work and spare parts.
  • Excluding the peace of mind warranty or extended warranty.
  • WARNING : The legal or commercial warranty does not cover any defects and consequences of defects resulting from servicing and/or repairs to the product performed by the user or a non-professional third party.

Appliance out of warranty

The costs are no longer covered but home servicing is still available.
