Installation Instructions

Thank you for purchasing this quality Lucci luminaire. To ensure correct function and safety, please read and follow all instructions carefully before assembly, installation and use of this luminaire. Please keep instructions for future reference.

Warranty

This luminaire is covered by a 3-year warranty valid for in-store replacement or refund only.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. Please retain the proof of purchase for any warranty inquiries.
The warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification of the luminaire.
This luminaire is not suitable for use with dimmer switches. Warranty will be void if the luminaire is used on the same circuit, which has a dimmer switch
Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual may increase the risk of damage or injury and will void the warranty.

Installation Requirements

This is a DIY (do it yourself) luminaire. No electrical wiring connection or disconnection is required.
The service of a licensed electrician is not required.
This luminaire is designed to be used with a batten holder (not included).
The installation location must have an existing batten holder (not included) pre-installed.
If you do not have a batten holder (not included), please contact a licensed electrician for installation.

NOTE: Ensure the existing batten holder (not included) is in good working condition, and the plastic has not become cracked, brittle, or discolored.

This luminaire is suitable for indoor use only.
Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure no components are missing before assembling.
If parts are missing, return the complete luminaire to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
Check whether the luminaire has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any luminaire which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete luminaire to the place of purchase for inspection, repair, or replacement.

Installation Directions

NOTE: Ensure power to the batten holder you are working on has been switched OFF before commencing the installation.

Remove all packaging material from the luminaire (E) and be careful not to throw away accessories that may be hidden within the packaging material.
Remove the bracket (B) from the luminaire (E) by loosening the grub screws (F) using the Allen key (G).
Remove the skirt (C – not included) from the existing batten holder (A – not included).
The bracket (B) can be installed in both directions, either “a” or “b” is facing down.
For Lucci and Clipsal, batten holders have the “b” side of the bracket (B) facing down.
If the luminaire is not flush against the ceiling, re-install bracket (B) and have the “a” side of the bracket (B) facing down.
Install the bracket (B) onto the batten holder (A – not included) and secure it by installing the skirt (C – not included) back onto the batten holder (A – not included).
NOTE: Ensure that the skirt (C – not included) is attached securely. Check that it has taken up at least 2-3 full
threads while attaching the skirt (C – not included) onto the batten holder (A – not included).
NOTE: The bracket (B) can be installed in both directions, either “a” or “b” is facing down.
For Lucci and Clipsal, batten holders have the “b” side of the bracket (B) facing down.
If the luminaire is not flush against the ceiling, re-install bracket (B) and have the “a” side of the bracket (B) facing down.
Install the bayonet adapter (D) into the batten holder (A – not included).
Install the luminaire (E) onto the bracket (B) and secure it by tightening the grub screws (F) with the Allen Key (G). If the luminaire is not flush against the ceiling, reverse the direction of the bracket (B). See the note in step 5.
Check and ensure the luminaire is fully assembled, and all parts are secure before turning on the power to the batten holder. Switch the power ON to test and enjoy your new luminaire.

Safety Tips

Always ensure the power is OFF and the luminaire has cooled down before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Do NOT soak or immerse the luminaire in water or other liquids.
Ensure that the luminaire does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals/solvents or abrasive cleaners etc.
Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced. There are no serviceable parts, do not attempt to dismantle or open the luminaire.
