Translation of the original Operating Instructions
WARNING
- Disconnect all electrical devices in the water from the power supply before reaching into the water. Otherwise there is a risk of severe in-juries or death by electrocution.
- This unit can be used by children aged 8 and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expe-rience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the unit in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with the unit. Only allow chil-dren to carry out cleaning and user maintenance under supervision.
Safety information
Electrical connection
- Special regulations apply for electrical installation in outdoor spaces. Only a qualified electri-cian may perform the electrical installation.
- The qualified electrician has the necessary professional training, knowledge and experience to perform electrical installation in outdoor spaces. The electrician can detect potential dangers and knows how to adhere to regional and national standards, regulations and direc-tives.
- For your own safety, please consult a qualified electrician.
- Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply match.
- Only plug the unit into a correctly installed outlet. Ensure that the unit is fused for a rated fault current of max. 30 mA by means of a fault current protection device.
- Extension cables and power distributors (e.g. outlet strips) must be suitable for outdoor use (splash-proof).
- Protect open plugs and sockets from moisture.
Safe operation
- Do not use the unit, if electrical lines or the housing are damaged.
- Dispose of the unit if its power connection cable is damaged. The power connection cable can-not be replaced.
- Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
- Do not carry or pull the unit by its power cable.
- Fasten the unit on the water by anchoring the unit with cords.
- Never carry out technical changes to the unit.
- Only carry out work on the unit that is described in this manual.
- Only use original spare parts and accessories.
- Route lines in such a way that they are protected from damage and do not present a tripping hazard.
- Should problems occur, please contact the authorised customer service or OASE.
Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:
- For cleaning garden pond surfaces.
- For aeration and supplying oxygen to garden ponds.
- While adhering to the technical specifications. (→ Technical data)
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
- Never use the unit with fluids other than water.
- Do not use in conjunction with chemicals, foodstuff, easily flammable or explosive substances.
- Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.

Assembly
- Push the two floats into the channels in the container provided for this purpose until they au-dibly engage.
- Align the air distributor.
- Place the foam filter and the filter basket in the container.
Installation
- Position the skimmer in the pond and submerge it in water until the pump chamber and con-tainer are fully flooded.
- Ensure that the skimmer flap is correctly positioned. Ensure that the skimmer flap can move freely.
- Anchor the skimmer to limit its movement range.
- To do so, fasten a cord on the eyelet of the pump chamber. Anchor the other end of the cord at the edge or bottom of the pond.
Commissioning/start-up
- Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately.
- Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.
Maintenance and cleaning
Regular cleaning work
Regularly rinse the filter cage and foam filter with clear water.
Thoroughly cleaning the unit
Remove the skimmer from the water for thorough cleaning.
- Disassemble the skimmer as shown in the image.
- Ensure that the air hose does not slide off the injector.
- Clean all parts with a brush under clear water.
Cleaning the pump, replacing the impeller unit:
- Open the pump cover (bayonet catch) and remove the impeller unit.
- Clean all parts with a brush under clear water.
- If the impeller unit is damaged or worn, replace it.
Assembling the skimmer
- Reassemble the skimmer in reverse order.
- Lay the power cable so that it is not pinched.
- Lay the air hose without kinks.
- When assembling the pump chamber container, ensure that the closing mechanism engages audibly.
- Align the air distributor. (→ Assembly)
Storage/winter protection
The unit is not frost-proof and has to be removed and put into storage if minus temperatures are expected. How to correctly store the unit:
- Thoroughly clean the unit.
- Check the unit for damage and replace damaged components.
- Store the pump submerged and in a frost-free environment.
- Protect electrical connections from moisture and dirt.
