Jump Start is a function of the WX-5 that helps some rotary machines start up. When switching between on and off, this feature temporarily raises the voltage to the machine. Press “+” and “-” simultaneously to enable or disable Jump Start; when the screen displays “H,” Jump Start is active. Jump Start isn’t enabled if it displays “L.”

How to Apply
Energy On/Off
Turn the WX-5 on by pressing the power button. To stop/start, press one more. To turn off, hold down the power button for two seconds.
Voltage Choice
By pressing the “+” and “-” buttons, you can change the voltage between 5 and 12 volts in steps of 0.1 volts. To fast change voltage, press the “+” and “-” buttons repeatedly.
Electronic Display
The digital display alternates between showing the selected voltage, the amount of battery life left, and the estimated time left while in use.
