Product Usage Instructions

A. Turning On/Off and Adjusting Brightness:
Press the switch pin:

• 1x for HIGH intensity
• 2x for MEDIUM intensity
• 3x for LOW intensity

Press and hold the switch pin for 1 second to turn OFF the light.

• B. Battery Indicator:
  The battery indicator dots will illuminate for 4 seconds when switching on to display the battery level.

• C. Handle and Solar Charging:
  The product features a handle for hanging and has solar charging built-in.

• D. Wireless Charging
  The product includes a charging pad for wireless charging. While charging, the indicator dots will show the battery level for 4 seconds. Ensure the charging pad is used in a dry place

• Maintenance:
  Use a soft cloth with lukewarm water for cleaning. Avoid using chemical detergents.

• Repair:
  The product can be disassembled for technical component replacement. For spare part information, contact your HOUE point of sale or visit houe.com.

• Battery Safety:
  Avoid leakage of flammable liquid or gas with the battery.

FAQ:

• Q: How do I know when the battery is fully charged?
  A: The battery indicator dots will show a full charge status when all dots are illuminated continuously.

• Q: Can I charge devices other than smartphones on the wireless charging pad?
  A: Yes, you can power up other compatible devices that support wireless charging on the pad.

USER GUIDE

• A Press switch pin to turn ON-OFF / Adjust brightness: 1 x turn ON + HIGH / 2 x MEDIUM / 3 x LOW intensity level. Press switch pin and hold 1 sec. to turn OFF.

• B Battery indicator dots illuminate 4 sec. when switching on.

• C Handle for hanging. Solar charging built in.

• D Charging pad. Wireless charging with the option to power up smartphones or other devices. While charging, the indicator dots will illuminate to display the battery level for 4 sec. The charging pad must be used in a dry place.

• Charging time Approx. 4 hours from 0 % – 100%.

• Battery capacity Intensity level – High: 8h / Medium: 16h / Low: 100h.
  The lamp will power down to ”low” after 5h and switch off after 10h continuous use. The indicated hours are based on temperatures exceeding 10 ºC.

• Maintenance Repair

  • The luminaires shall be supplied by an independent separated extra-low voltage (SELV) power source, which should be certified with standard EN 61347-2-13 (Class II, IP20 or higher, fail-safe, or short circuit proof, with suitable output ratings, and maximum output voltage shall not exceed 60 VDC).
  • Use a soft cloth with lukewarm water. Avoid any kind of chemical detergents.
  • The product can be disassembled, allowing for the replacement of technical components. For spare part information, please contact your HOUE point of sale or visit houe.com.
  • The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or similar qualified person.

  • Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard.
  • Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it can result in an explosion.
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature environment can lead to an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas; and
  • A battery exposed to extremely low air pressure may lead to an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
