Quick Start Manual
Download and install the exclusive app for Dollarfix DF51: DND APP
- Search for ‘DND’ in the App Store or Google Play Store, DND app is a free to download. (as shown in the figure below)
DF51 supports many third-party apps, such as Car Scanner, Torque, OBD Fusion, DashCommand, Infocar, etc, There may be many applications that have not been mentioned yet. You can contact us to understand the compatibility of DF51 with third-party applications.
Login or Sign Up
If you already have a DND account, please login with your credentials.
If you do not have an account, please sign up as explained in the following
paragraph. (App can be use without login, but data can be synchronized to any
device After login)
How to Sign Up for an Account:
Open the DND App, click on “Sign Up”. Input your email and verification code
(which will be sent to the email you input), then create your password. Click
on“submit’to finish your registration.
Connection steps

3.1 Insert DF51 into the OBDII port
3.2 Start engine.
3.3 Locate the OBD port of the vehicle. It is a standard 16 pin port, usually
located below the dashboard near the driver’s side. (Usually, the color of the
OBD port is black, white, or blue, and it is trapezoidal).
3.4 OBD port location may be different among various vehicle models, possible
location as below:
3.5 After finding the OBD
connector, plug the device into OBD port.
Observe the device power indicator light. If the indicator light is on, the
device is successfully installed. The indicator light comes in three colors:
red, blue, and green. A green light indicates power on, a flashing blue light
indicates Bluetooth communication, a continuous blue light indicates
connection to the APP and establishment of communication with the vehicle, and
a flashing red light indicates a software or hardware malfunction.
3.6 If the device is not connected to the phone for along time after being
plugged in, the indicator light will turn off and enter a sleep state. It can
be awakened through Bluetooth connection or by starting the engine.
Connect Device
4.1 Turn phone Bluetooth on. Please skip this step if Bluetooth is on.
4.2 Run APP.
4.3 Click the Add Device button to search for Bluetooth and select DF51 to
connect.
4.4 During the connection process, please ensure that no other mobile phones are connected to the device. After displaying ‘successfully connected’, the product can be used normally.
