IMPORTANT : To ensure proper operation of the two subwoofers, they should
be operated with an additional amplifier such as the Musway M6.
NOTE : For the plug+play integration of the subwoofers in conjunction
with a Musway M6 DSP amplifier, the MPK-MB206-M adapter cable set is available
from specialist retailers.
INSTALLATION
- Start on the driver‘s side. The subwoofer is located behind the cover behind the pedals.
- First carefully remove the paneling on the inside of the door sill. This is just clipped in.
- Remove the left and right screws at the top of the footwell next to the steering column.
- Unlock the Bowden cable of the engine hood.
- Unlock the black connector by pushing the lock backwards.
- Unplug the yellow connector on the speaker.
- Disconnect the gray connector plug.
- Remove the two screws below the accelerator pedal.
- Disconnect the black connector on the accelerator pedal.
- Remove the footwell cover to access the subwoofer installation location.
- The subwoofer is screwed at three points. Loosen all three screws and set them aside.
- Then pull out the connector on the original subwoofer.
- Finally, screw the Musway subwoofer CSM206WL with the three screws and insert the connector.
- The installation on the driver’s side is now complete.
- Continue on the passenger side. The subwoofer is located behind the cover in the footwell.
- First, carefully remove the paneling on the inside of the door sill. This is just clipped in.
- Remove the left plastic holder underneath the dashboard in the footwell on the passenger side.
- Remove the right plastic bracket underneath the dashboard in the passenger side footwell.
- Disconnect the yellow connector plug. Depending on the equipment, there could be a plug on a sensor to remove.
- Loosen this footwell cover screw.
- Loosen this footwell cover screw.
- Loosen this footwell cover screw.
- Remove the footwell cover and control unit screws to access the subwoofer installation location.
- The subwoofer is screwed at three points. Loosen all three screws and set them aside.
- Then pull out the connector on the original subwoofer.
- Finally, screw the Musway subwoofer CSM206WR with the three screws and insert the connector.
- The installation is now complete. Now reassemble everything by carrying out the previous installation steps in reverse order.
