READ AND KEEP THIS MANUAL for your own safety and best use of the product
- Only use the inflator in 12V DC outlet sockets rated to 10 Amps or higher. Otherwise damage to the vehicle’s lighter socket, wiring system or fuses in the vehicle may occur.
- The inflator is designed for occasional use only. Operation over an extended period may overheat the unit and damage the compressor. Do not operate continuously for over 15 minutes. If you require more than 15 minutes of use, switch off the compressor, allow to cool for 30 minutes before resuming operation.
- When using 12V supply your vehicle engine should be running. This will avoid drain on the battery and will allow the compressor to run faster
- The compressor should be kept out of the reach of small children.
- Small items like volleyballs and footballs inflate rapidly. Take care.

- If there is any doubt exists as to the safe and proper use of this product, please contact P.I Auto Store customer service, who will be able to advise.
- Do not use if there are any signs of damage to the product, especially the hose. If damage is found, please remove from service immediately
- NEVER operate the device with a battery charger
- NEVER exceed the rated pressure of the item being inflated as this could damage the item and cause injury
- NEVER leave the compressor running unattended
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This air compressor has been designed to inflate automotive tires to the
manufacturer’s recommended pressure. As a secondary function, It can also be
used to inflate sports balls and inflatables (adaptors included) The input
power is via a 12V male plug which will fit to any female cigarette lighter
plug on a vehicle. To power from household electricity (AC), an adaptor is
required, which is sold separately. The design is compact and lightweight so
that you can store in the trunk of your car. The hose and electrical cable
fold away neatly into the housing. The LCD display shows pressure in either
Psi,bar, Kpa, Kg/cm’ in 0.5 increments. The hose is fitted with a snap-on type
connector for easy of use and minimal air discharge. The in built processor
will stop the pump at your desired pressure.
The inflator has an LED light which can be used in the dark to see the tire
valve. The light also flashed red which can be used in an emergency situation.
A storage and carry case is provided which will prevent dirt ingress and
protect from abrasion damage. Also included are spare tire valve caps and a
presta adaptor, so you can use the inflator to inflate tires on bicycles.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO INFLATE TIRES (Including Bicycles)
NOTE: If you need to inflate a completely flat tire it may be possible
that the seal between the tire and wheel rim is broken. You may need to jack
up the car first to allow the seal to be made, prior to inflation.

Completely remove the power cable and air hose from the unit, making sure there are no tangles.

Firmly push the 12V connector into to vehicle cigarette lighter or other outlet. Start vehicle engine. If using the P.I Auto Store power converter, connect to AC supply and then connect inflator to female cigarette lighter plug

Remove tire valve cap. (For bicycle tires, screw on the presta adaptor on to the valve ). Push snap-on connector onto valve stem hard with one hand and pull the lever down with the other hand to clamp onto the valve and make an air seal. Tire pressure will now be displayed on the LCD. If pressure is not displayed, release lever and try again, pushing down harder before pulling the lever down.

Press the ‘M’ button to choose between units Psi,bar, Kpa

Press the ” OR ‘-‘ button for 2 seconds or until the display flashes. Use the ‘†’ or ‘-‘ button to set the desired pressure. This pressure will be stored in memory until you change it. After a few seconds the LCD will display the actual tire pressure again.

Switch the pump on by pressing the ‘ON/OFF button. The pump will inflate until the set pressure is reached.
NOTE: If the pressure in the tire is HIGHER than the set pressure the compressor will not start. If this happens, back off the connector to release air from the tire until the pressure is LOWER than the set pressure. -
When the pump stops, remove the connector by lifting up the lever. Now replace the tire valve cap.

If the second tire is to be the same pressure, then fit the snap-on connector to the valve. Press either the ” or ‘- button to switch the compressor on. It will stop at the same pressure.

If the next tire is to be a different pressure, then use the ‘†’ or ‘- buttons as before to change the set pressure.

When all tires are inflated, press the ‘ON/OFF’ button to turn off the compressor.

After use, carefully fold away the power cable and the hose into the housing and put the device back into carry case.
TIP— Wrap power cable around vour hand making it easy to stow the cable.
TO INFLATE SPORTS EQUIPMENT & INFLATABLES
NOTE— This is primarily a low flow / high pressure pump. It will take
time to fill a low pressure high volume I inflatable. If faster times are
required then we recommend using a high flow / low pressure pump.

Completely remove the power cable and air hose from the unit, making sure there are no tangles.

Connect power cable to vehicle 12V cigarette lighter OR 12V Power Converter

Select the correct adaptor. These are found in the back of the device housing.

Connect adaptor to the snap-on connector on the hose by pressing in then pulling the lever down to lock in place.

Insert the adaptor into the fitting on the inflatable

Press the SET button to choose between units Psi,bar, Kpa, Kg/cm’

Set the desired pressure on the LCD. Use ‘†’ or ‘-‘ buttons until the set pressure is displayed
NOTE- If set pressure is not known then you will need to stop the pump manually when the correct firmness of the inflatable is achieved. Take care with small inflatables such as balls as they will inflate fast. -
Press the ON/OFF button. The compressor pump will start and continue to inflate until the set pressure is reached OR stop the pump with the switch when desired firmness is reached

Remove the hose from the inflatable, carefully fold away the power cable and the hose into the housing and put the inflator back into carry case.
TO USE LED LIGHT
- Ensure inflator is connected to a 12V power supply
- Press Light control button- 1st Press = White light for illumination. 2nd Press = Red light flashing. 3rd Press = Red light SOS
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
- The inflator has been designed so that no maintenance or lubrication is required during the service life
- If the unit gets dirty, clean with a soft cloth moistened with a mild solution of water and detergent. DO NOT USE solvents of other chemical cleaners. Do not allow water to get inside the housing
- Periodically inspect hoses, connectors, and power cable. Discontinue use if worn or broken.
- Store the compressor in its case in your vehicle or in a dry location indoors
NOTE — Do not open or disassemble the unit. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
Fuse Replacement
The inflator is fitted with a 10A protective fuse located in the cigarette
lighter connector. Should the fuse need to be replaced, unscrew the end cap of
the connector and replace with equivalent fuse.
CAUTION-For continued protection against risk of fire, replace the fuse
only with the same type and rating
TROUBLESHOOTING
The compressor will not start
- Automobile fuse may be burned out. Check function of the vehicle cigarette lighter and replace fuse a per manufacturer guidelines
- Check cigarette lighter for dirt ingress. Clean out with plastic or wood. DO NOT USE METAL
- Ensure inflator 12V connector is pushed fully into the 12V outlet.
The compressor runs but labours
- Likely to be low battery voltage. Start car and let idle. This will increase the voltage to optimise performance of the compressor
- twist 12V male socket in outlet to ensure good contact Compressor runs but does not inflate
- Likely to be an air leak. Feel for leaking air in the hose and at the connector.
- Ensure the object you are inflating is not damaged and is leak tight.
- If you are inflating a tire from flat you should jack the car up first.
Pressure in the tire is lower than the set pressure
- When air is compressed it warms up. When it cools ,the pressure will reduce. Wait for the air in the tire to cool and top up.
TIP: Do not inflate tires in direct sunlight.
