  • A: The Nose Searchlight has an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing it to withstand short-term immersion up to a depth of 1m for 30 minutes. However, it should not be immersed in water for an extended period.

Warning

• When using, please ensure that each light strip connector is equipped with an O-ring. And the connectors of the headlights and light strips are fastened in place. Do not forcefully pull on the headlight wire and light strip wire.
• The waterproof level of Nose Searchlight and LED Strip Lights is IPX7, and they cannot be immersed in water for a long time. The immersion depth is ≤ 1m, and the immersion time is ≤ 0.5 h.
• Before each use of the Nose Searchlight, check and confirm that the USB plug must be tightly covered to prevent water from entering the USB port and damaging the device.
• Check if the battery is sufficient before each use.
• The wire of Nose Searchlight should not be used to connect other products to avoid damage or danger.
• In emergency situations, the LED of Nose Searchlight can be switched to an SOS flashing light for help.
• To ensure safety, wear a safety vest or life saving equipment on site.
• When carrying this device during transportation or on an aircraft, please carry it in accordance with relevant regulations and keep it properly.
• Keep equipment away from gas, oil, rubber solutions, or other volatile or acidic substances.

Nose Searchlight installation

• Step 1. Tighten the (b) nuts at both ends of the (a) fixing studs.
• Step 2. Screw the (a) fixing stud short screw end into the (c) headlight handle screw hole, and tighten the tightly fitting (b) nut short screw end.
• Step 3. Screw the (b) fixing stud long screw end into the (c) base screw hole on the slurry board, adjust the headlight angle, and then tighten the bottom (a) nut long screw end to secure the headlight
• Step 4: Check that there should be one (b) O ring seal installed on each of the two light strip connectors. Align the arrow symbol ” ” on the (c) light strip connector with the (a) headlight strip connector and insert it to the end. Then manually tighten the (d) connecting nut to the end until it cannot be tightened.
  • Warning: The connector of the light strip must ensure an O ring seal, and the connecting nut of the light strip must be tightened to the end to ensure reliable waterproof sealing.
• Step 5:  Clip the light strip wire into the (a) wire holder.

Remote control installation

• Step 1. Please prepare 1 CR2032 3V battery (remote control battery not included in the packaging)
• Step 2. Remove the remote control battery holder, insert the CR2032 battery, and then reinstall the remote control

Matching headlights and remote control

In the case of multiple BT-24GL near the pairing of headlights and remote controls, to avoid mutual interference, one-on-one control can be achieved through pairing operations:

• Step 1. Press and hold the button on the headlight for 3 seconds at the same time, and the headlight power light will turn on a red light, entering pairing mode.
• Step 2. Press any button on the remote control to pair, and after successful pairing, the battery red light will turn off. If pairing is not successful within 10 seconds and the battery red light goes out, please start pairing again from step 1.

Nose Searchlight Introduction

1. On/Color Switch Button

2. Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to turn on/off the headlight LED. When the headlight LED is turned on, it defaults to white highlight.

3. Click on the cycle to switch between white highlight → white dim light → warm highlight → warm dim light → warm white highlight → warm white dim light → red highlight → red SOS → white highlight →.

Usage status battery indicator

Note

1. When in sleep mode, all four battery indicator lights do not light up. Click the button , and the battery indicator lights up. When not working, the battery indicator light will turn off for about 10 seconds and enter sleep mode.
2. When the LED light of the headlight or the LED light of the light bar is turned on, the headlight power indicator light will remain on, displaying the remaining power.
3. When the external device is plugged into the headlight USB output port through a USB cable, the battery indicator light will light up and the product will start power transmission.

Introduction to Remote Control

Note

• When the product light strip and headlight are working simultaneously, the remote control prioritizes the control of the light strip.

1. Switch button
   • Click to control the light on/off of the current channel (light bar or headlight).
   • Note
     • When both the headlights and light strips are not on, use the remote control to turn on the lights. To do so, press and hold the remote control for ****1.5 seconds. At this time, the default light strip LED will be turned on and the white light will remain on 。
     • When the light bar and headlights are on simultaneously, click ****to close the current channel and then automatically switch to another lit channel 。
2. Light bar/headlight channel switch button Click to cycle between the light bar channel and the headlight channel
3. When the light strip is on separately

  * Click on the headlight to quickly flash two white lights, indicating that you have switched to the headlight channel。
  * Press the button ****to turn on the white highlight of the headlights within 10 seconds, and if the button ****is not pressed within 10 seconds, the channel will automatically switch back to the light bar channel.
2. When the headlights are on separately:
  * Click on the light bar to quickly flash two white lights, indicating that you have switched to the light bar channel.
  * Press the button ****to turn on the light bar within 10 seconds, and the white light will stay on for a long time. If the button ****is not pressed within 10 seconds, the channel will automatically switch back to the light channel.
3. When the light strip and headlights are on simultaneously
  * Click to switch channels between light bars and headlights。
  * When switching, the LED light of the corresponding channel will quickly flash twice, indicating that it has been switched to the corresponding channel. After switching, the channel will be controlled.

Headlamp charging and discharging

Headlamp charging

• Using a DC5V 3A (max 4A) power supply to connect to the headlight type_ C charging port, for charging the built-in lithium battery, the battery indicator light flashes to display the current battery level. After the battery is fully charged, it automatically stops charging.

Headlamp output power supply

• When the external device is plugged into the headlight USB output port through a USB cable, the battery indicator light is on, and the product starts to power up and output DC5V 2.4A.

Trouble Shooting

Storage And Disposal

Storage

• Do not store the product in environments such as high temperature, excessive dryness and humidity, direct sunlight, and flying dust. Adverse environments can cause damage to electronic equipment, and the storage temperature should not exceed 45 ℃ (113 ℃ ˚ F)
• Do not over discharge.
  • Charge the battery after each use.
  • Recharge the battery every four months even if it hasn t been used.
  • Over discharge during storage may damage the battery and reduce its lifetime.
• After each use, please dry the nose searchlight and the LED strip lights to avoid damage to the electronic components.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery from the remote control.
• The original packaging is recommended for storage.
