PADDLE SLEEVE
DIRECTIONS
IMPORTANT: Apply the sleeve to the middle of the paddle shaft
CANOE Paddle Sleeve
Remove the sticker backing.
Apply the sticker to the lower paddle shaft at the midpoint between the blade and the cuff.
The sticker should be permanently affixed to the paddle shaft and should not
be removed thereafter. 
Place the sleeve in the mid-section of the paddle keeping the beginning of the zipper at the handle end of the paddle.
Carefully join each zipper end.
Gently pull the zipper together.
Zip completely, to the end of the sleeve, before use.
When completely closed, the protective sleeve should be centered on the pad die shaft and cover the sticker completely.
IMPORTANT – SAFETY RECALL
CAUTION: Paddle can suddenly snap. Always use the sleeve to keep the paddle from separating into two pieces. Failure to do so can cause serious injury, including a puncture wound. Inspect the paddle and sleeve before each use. Do not use the paddle if any part is cracked, dented, bent or corroded.
CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS:
Avoid touching rough surfaces. Do not store the sleeve outside or in an area exposed to direct sunlight or extreme heat. After use, remove the sleeve, hand wash with cold water, and air dry. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not spin dry. Do not dry clean. When replacing the sleeve, inspect the zipper assembly, remove any dust, sand, or debris that may have accumulated, and make sure it works smoothly. Never use your paddle to push off or launch yourself via the bottom or surfaces surrounding your board. Never intentionally throw or hit another person with your paddle.
