- The mandatory footprint required for the TruGolf MAX is 15’ Wide x 10’ High x 18’ Deep.
Getting Started – Frame Assembly Set Up
- Each piece of the TruGolf MAX frame has been labeled by Number and Color.
- a. Each bar has been cut to fit its counterpart. The system will fit and function best when each frame piece is matched to its numerical counterpart.
- Begin by sorting each portion of the frame into its color-coordinated sections.
- Each piece is connected numerically, 1 to 2, 3 to 4, and so on. Please take care to use the correct portion of the frame, in its correct position, as is labeled in the manual.
- Begin connecting each portion of the frame and ensuring the push-button lock mechanisms click into place.
Frame Assembly Detail Notes
- The black plastic end cap on the powder-coated FIRTH BLUE front floor corners (FL, FR) should be facing toward the golfer.
- Where a D-LOOP connection is required, set and position the D-LOOP such that the flat head of the pin is seated on the EXTERIOR of the frame with the loop positioned towards the INTERIOR.
- The top-front corners are designated AL (Awning Left) and AR (Awning Right). Ensure that the obtuse angle is extended up towards the ceiling.
- These pieces are NOT INTERCHANG-ABLE and they must be positioned as designated in the Frame Assembly Diagram.
- The AL and AR frame pieces have each been labeled with a Black Sticker and a White Sticker to help guide their correct installation.
- Confirm that the Black Sticker is oriented up towards the ceiling and the White Sticker is oriented towards the ground.
Getting Started – Fabric Exterior Enclosure Assembly
The Fabric Exterior Enclosure consists of:
- a. Impact Screen Backing
- b. Top Skin
- c. Left Skin
- d. Right Skin
- e. Impact Screen
- f. 2 ct. Padded Side Baffles
- g. Bottom Baffles
- h. Printed Valance
NOTE: If the height of the room allows, assembly is most easily accomplished by laying the frame on the ground when attaching the Impact Screen Backing, Impact Screen, and Top Skin.
Fabric Exterior Enclosure Assembly
- Unfold the Impact Screen Backing and wrap it around the YELLOW frame pieces (11-20). Pull and attach each section of bungee cord to the brass cleats on the GREEN frame pieces (1-10). (See Figures 1-3)
- a. NOTE: Ensure that the screen hangs evenly by attaching the middle-most sections of the bungee cord to their corresponding brass cleats on each side first, and then working out towards the corners.
- Attach the looped ends of the bungee cord on the Impact Screen Backing onto the hooks found on the TL, TR, BL, and BR frame pieces. (See Fig. 4)
- Velcro the white Impact Screen into place on the Impact Screen Backing. (See Fig. 5)
- Fabric Exterior Enclosure Assembly
- Once the white Impact Screen is installed, unfold and orient the Top Skin so that the attached, padded ba˙e will hang on top of the white Impact Screen.
- Anchor the Top Skin in place by looping the fabric tabs around the frame and joining the Velcro strips. (See Fig. 6-8)
- a. NOTE: When wrapping the Top Skin around the left and right sides of the frame, be sure to leave approx. 1” of exposed loop Velcro. This will serve as an anchor point when installing the Left and Right Skins.
- Pull and attach each section of the bungee cord on the Top Skin to the brass cleats, and then attach the looped ends of the bungee cord onto the hooks found on the TL and TR frame pieces. (See Fig. 9)
- Unfold and orient the Left and Right Skins so you can join the Velcro connections around the front-most sides and bottom of the frame. (See Fig. 10-11)
- Anchor the Left and Right Skins to the Velcro strips found on the Top Skin (See Fig. 12) and then wrap the Left and Right Skins around the back-most sides of the frame and join the Velcro strips (See Fig. 13)
- Attach the Bottom Ba˙e by pulling the looped ends of the bungee cord between the Left and Right Skins and the white Impact Screen, and anchor the loops in place on the hooks found on the BL and BR frame pieces.
- The grommeted corners of the bottom baffles attached to the bungee cord should be oriented at the top so the ba˙e hangs towards the ground. (See Fig. 14)
- Attach the two Padded Side Ba˙es to the vertical Velcro strips on the Left and Right skins in the interior of the booth. (See Fig. 15)
- Attach the Printed Valance to the Velcro strip on the front-most face of the Top Skin.
