SELFSAT 572602 Snipe Mobil Camp Direct Portable Camping Satellite System
Introduction
SNIPE MOBIL CAMP DIRECT is lightweight and highly portable with a compact
design.
This SNIPE MOBIL CAMP DIRECT, fully automatic camping satellite system is
designed for receiving digital TV and radio channels via Astra 19.2° East
exclusively.
No additional controls are required to control the system and it can be used
with any other device with a satellite receiver.

Installation
In order to receive a signal from the satellite, the product has to be
installed in an open space with the direction of the satellite towards the
equator.
Make sure that there are no obstacles in front of the product which can
decrease the signal reception quality, such as buildings or trees.

- There is one cable connection from the main unit to the receiver.
- Connect the antenna and the receiver/STB with a signal cable.
- Turn on the receiver/STB power.
NOTE
※ The operating current required for the antenna is 300mA, and it is supplied by connecting the antenna with the reciever/STB directly.
※ When the antenna has found the satellite you can switch off and on the
reciever/STB. The antenna will not have to search for the satellite again as
long as the position of the antenna wasn´t changed.
※ If the antenna does not find a satellite within 6 minutes, move it and try
again.
Troubleshooting
There are a number of common issues that can affect the signal reception quality or the operation of the product. The following sections address these issues and offer potential solutions.
A. No function when connected
i. Check all cable connections again.
B. Satellite search has failed.
i. Satellite signals can be blocked or degraded by buildings, trees or
other obstacles.
ii. Make sure there are no obstacles in a southward direction.
iii. Turn the product off and then on again.
C. Other issues
i. If the system has been improperly wired, it will not operate properly.
Contact local dealer/shop for assistance of cable damage.
Safety note
All the instructions should be followed in order to avoid any technical
problems.
Please note the following instructions from the manufacturer :
- The device is designed for private use and is not suitable for commercial purposes. Any other use will result in the loss of the warranty or guarantee.
- Do not open the cover, any attempt to repair by a non-qualified person can be dangerous and void the warranty.
- Do not make any holes on the plastic antenna cover to prevent from water penetration.
- Do not paint or add any substance on the antenna cover, this will block the reception of the signal from the satellite.
- Be careful when connecting or disconnecting the signal cable. Using it in an abnormal condition or pulling it by force may damage the product or the cable.
- Before moving the product, and disconnect all cables. Otherwise the product may get damaged or there is a risk of falling over the cables and getting injured.
- Install the product on a flat place.
- When handling the antenna, please do it carefully as any impact might cause damage to the electronics.
- Any obstacle (buildings, trees, etc….) will block the reception of the signal from the satellite to the antenna.
