  4. European Union only: This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
  5. Turn the appliance off, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug the adapter, grasp the adapter and pull it from the power source. Never pull from the power cord.
  6. Do not use an extension cord. Plug the adapter directly into an electric outlet.
  7. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the Battery.
  8. Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
  9. Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters and accessories during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons or damage to the Cordless Hand Mixer.
  10. Do not operate any appliance or USB adapter with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest Authorised Service Centre for examination, repair or adjustment.
  11. The use of accessories/attachments not recommended or sold by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  12. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
  13. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
  14. Do not let the cord contact the hot surface, including the stove.
  15. Remove beaters or accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer before washing.
  16. Refer to the “Care and Cleaning” section for instructions on cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
  17. Disconnect the Battery from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the appliance. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.
  18. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before connecting to the Battery, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing an appliance that has the switch ON invites accidents.
  19. Recharge only with the adapter specified by the manufacturer. The adapter that is suitable for one type of Battery may create a risk of fire when used with another Battery.
  20. Use appliances only with KitchenAid 12 V Battery. Use of any other Batteries may create a risk of injury and fire.
  21. When the Battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the Battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  22. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the Battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts the eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the Battery may cause irritation or burns.
  23. Do not use a Battery or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  24. Do not expose a Battery or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 129°C may cause an explosion.
  25. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the Battery or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the Battery and increase the risk of fire.
  26. Never service damaged Battery. Service of Battery should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorised service providers.
  27. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  28. Do not use Cordless Hand Mixer in rain or wet conditions. Do not expose to rain —store indoors.
  29. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  30. Do not operate the Hand Mixer continuously for more than 5 minutes.
  31. Empty batteries should be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.
  32. If the appliance is stored for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
  33. If the Battery leaks, remove the Battery from the appliance and do not use the Battery again.
  34. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance before being charged.

NOTE: If the adapter does not fit in the power source, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the adapter in any way. Do not use, store, or charge Battery or products in locations where the temperature is less than 10°C or more than 40°C.

  • Always dispose of the Battery-operated products according to federal, state, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations.

GETTING STARTED

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Charge the Battery until it is fully charged.
  2. Clean all the parts and accessories (see “Care and Cleaning” section).
  3. Remove all packaging materials, if present.
    • NOTE: Some dust may be on the product. This is due to the recycled materials used in packaging. This can be cleaned with a soft towel.

BATTERY CHARGING USING THE USB CABLE

  1. Attach the USB Cable to the adapter. Connect the other end of the USB Cable to the battery.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power source.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

  1. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the Speed Controller is in the “O” position before attaching and removing Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories.
  2. There are two Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories. One is without a collar and another with a collar.
  3. Insert the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories without a collar into the smaller opening and the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories with a collar into the larger opening. Align and push to lock into place. Both the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories will click in.

PRODUCT USAGE

NOTE: Make sure the Battery is fully charged before use.

  1. Insert the Battery into the Battery slot located at the back of the appliance.
  2. The LED will light and display the Battery level for five seconds, then turn off.
  3. Always start mixing at the lowest speed, and by sliding the Speed Controller, increase the speed according to the recipes.
  4. To increase the speed, slide the Speed Controller forward ( ). To decrease the speed, slide the Speed Controller backward ( ).
  5. When finished, slide the Speed controller to the “O” position.
  6. Press and hold the Battery Unlock Button to remove the Battery.

CARE AND CLEANING

IMPORTANT: Make sure the Speed Controller is at the “O” position before attaching or removing Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories. Remove the Battery before cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

  1. Press the Eject Button to release the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer.
  2. Always remove the Stainless Steel Turbo Beater II accessories from the Cordless Hand Mixer before cleaning. The beaters can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry.
  3. Wipe the Cordless Hand Mixer with a damp cloth. Dry with a soft cloth.
    • NOTE: To avoid damage to the Cordless Hand Mixer, do not immerse in water.

  1. SCOPE AND TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE
    • a) The Guarantor grants the Guarantee for the products mentioned under Section 1. b) which a consumer has purchased from a seller or a company of the KitchenAid Group within the following countries: U.K., Ireland, or the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
    • b) The Guarantee period depends on the purchased product and is as follows: One Year full guarantee from the date of purchase.
    • c) The Guarantee period commences on the date of purchase, i.e. the date on which a consumer purchased the product from a dealer or a company of the KitchenAid Group.
    • d) The Guarantee covers the defect-free nature of the product.

    • g) The costs of repair, including spare parts, and any postage costs (if applicable) for the delivery of a defect-free product or product part shall be borne by the Guarantor. The Guarantor shall also bear the postage costs for returning the defective product or product part if the Guarantor or the country-specific KitchenAid customer service centre requests the return of the defective product or product part. However, the consumer shall bear the costs of appropriate packaging for the return of the defective product or product part.
    • h) To be able to claim the Guarantee, the consumer must present the receipt or invoice of the purchase of the product.
  2. LIMITATIONS OF THE GUARANTEE
    • a) The Guarantee applies only to products used for private purposes and not for professional or commercial purposes.
    • b) The Guarantee does not apply in the case of normal wear and tear, improper or abusive use, failure to follow the instructions for use, use of the product at the wrong electrical voltage, installation and operation in violation of the applicable electrical regulations, and use of force (e.g. blows).
    • c) The Guarantee does not apply if the product has been modified or converted, e.g. conversions from 120 V products to 220-240 V products.
    • d) The provision of Guarantee services does not extend the Guarantee period, nor does it initiate the commencement of a new Guarantee period. The Guarantee period for installed spare parts ends with the Guarantee period for the entire product.

    • Further or other claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded unless liability is mandatory by law. After the expiry of the Guarantee period or for products for which the Guarantee does not apply, the KitchenAid customer service centres are still available to the end customer for questions and information.
