QuietCool Adjustable Thermostat with Fire Safety Shut-off
for Powered Attic Ventilators
PRODUCT FEATURES
- Adjustable thermostat between 50ºF and 120ºF
- Built-in Fire Safety Shut-off to turn fan off if thermostat detects temperature over 182ºF
- Single speed control
- Rated for up-to 10 Amps
- Only for use with Quiet Cool power ventilators
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER: Electrical connections on all wiring must be done by a qualified
electrician in accordance with all local codes and standards, including fire-
rated construction. Failure to complete installation properly can result in
fire or even death.
WARNING: Turn off the electrical current to the unit before attempting
any service work.
FOLLOW ALL WIRING DIAGRAMS AND ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. CONNECT TO
115-120V CIRCUIT ONLY.

Turn off power to unit at fuse or breaker box.

If you are replacing an existing thermostat, remove the cover.

Disconnect wiring from the existing thermostat.

Remove old thermostat and box from fan at conduit connection in box.

Connect one black wire from the thermostat to the black wire of the incoming power supply.

Connect the other black wire from the thermostat to the black motor wire.

Connect the white wire from the power supply to the white motor wire.

Attach the ground wire from the incoming power supply to the ground screw on the thermostat.
CAUTION: Incorrect wiring can cause motor failure and possible fire. -
Replace cover on the thermostat. Check all connections to be sure there are no exposed conductors.

Set the temperature control at your desired temperature.

Restore power to circuit.
