(1) Download the APP
(1) Download the “0-KAM” App from Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple Store (for IOS )
(2) Scan the QR code below to download and the APP.
(2) Register and log in to the APP
(1) Please register an APP account and log in.
(2) You need to confirm these prompts, which appear using the APP for the first time, as shown on the pictures below
(3) Add device
(1) Method 1: Open the mobile APP, click the “+” in the upper right corner to scan the QR code on the camera, and complete the device binding according to the guidance of APP.
(2) Method 2: Open the mobile APP, please click the “+” in the upper right corner and select the “ QR code not found ” button – one select “ WiFi camera “, and complete the device binding according to the guidance of the mobile phone.
(3) Method 3: If you are not able to add the camera by doing method 1 and
2, you can manually add the camera.
Step 1, Reset the camera (keep pressing the reset button on the back for
5 seconds to see a green light)
Step 2, Go to your phone WIFI connections to connect the camera’ s WiFi:
@MC-XXXXXX.and then go back to the APP, camera should be added.
Step 3, Now the camera is on AP mode, you need to connect the camera to
your home WiFi to complete the set up. So that you remotely view the camera.
(Make sure to connect the 2.4G WiFi network.)
FAQ
1. How do I invite family and friends to use my camera together?
A: Open the APP and select your camera in the home page. Press “Share” in the camera settings to enter the sharing page, and a QR code will show up. Your friends need to download the APP on their phone to scan the QR which provided by your phone to add the camera.
2. Why doesn’t the Wi-Fi name appear when I connect to Wi-Fi?
A: On Apple devices with iOS 13 and above, you need to turn on the “Location Permission” of the app in the system settings and change it to “Allow while in use”
3. What are the requirements for Wi-Fi?
A: Please use 2.4GHz wireless network. The device does not support 5GHz wireless networks. At the same time, please set the Wi-Fi authentication method to WPA2-PSK or other lower-level security methods, and need to set a password.
4. How far should the camera be from the router?
A: After testing, the Wi-Fi connection distance can normally reach 150 meters in an open area. But the actual situation depends on the strength of the Wi-Fi and its surroundings (thick walls, electromagnetic devices, large metal objects can all cause interference to the Wi-Fi signal). If the camera connection is weak or unstable, place the camera as close to the router as possible.
5. What should I do if the equipment fails?
A: Reset the camera, keep pressing the reset button on the back for 5 seconds until the indicator light turns green. then let go, wait for the device to restart
6. TF card not recognized?
A: After inserting the TF card into the camera, check whether the capacity of the TF card is displayed in the “System Settings” – “TF Card Recording Settings” of the device in the APP. If it prompts “No TF card detected”, it means that the TF card recognition failed.
- Please use brand TF card.
- The TF card can be recognized by the computer normally.
- Only FAT32 format is supported.
- The recommended TF card capacity is between 2-128G.
- It is recommended to use a high-speed TF card of Class 10.
- It is recommended to try another TF card.
