The TV Dock Station is a device designed for use with the Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED gaming console. It provides a convenient way to connect your console to a TV or monitor, allowing you to play games on a larger screen.

Product Usage Instructions

Installing the Protective Case:
If you are using a protective case (under 2mm thick) on your Switch or Switch OLED, follow these steps:

1. Remove the detachable holder from the dock.
2. Install the protective case on the Switch.

Installing the Detachable Holder:
If you are not using a protective case on your Switch or Switch OLED, follow these steps:

1. Install the detachable holder on the dock.
2. Place the Switch onto the dock with the detachable holder attached.

Charging Joy-Cons:
The dock station can charge up to 6 Joy-Cons simultaneously. Follow these steps to charge your Joy-Cons:

1. Ensure the dock is connected to a power supply using the provided AC adapter.
2. Insert the Joy-Cons into the charging slots on the dock.
3. A red light will indicate that the Joy-Cons are charging.
4. The light will turn off when the Joy-Cons are fully charged.

Connecting to a TV:
To connect your Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED to a TV or monitor, follow these steps:

1. Connect the USB plug from the AC adapter into the USB-C terminal on the back of the dock.
2. Connect the other end of the AC adapter to a wall outlet.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI terminal on the back of the dock. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI port on your TV or monitor.

Switching between TV Mode and Handheld Mode:
To switch between TV mode and handheld mode, press the button located at the back of the dock.

Troubleshooting:
If you encounter any issues with the display on your TV, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Press the POWER Button on the Switch.
2. Charge the Switch with the original charging adapter for at least 30 minutes and check for a faint bright light on the screen edge in a dark environment.
3. Press and hold the power button for at least 12 seconds to turn off the Switch completely, then turn it back on.
4. If using other devices such as a sound bar, home theater system, or video adapter, remove them temporarily.
5. Ensure the TV is powered on and the Switch is awake.
6. Wait for the green light to stay on after connecting the Switch charger and HDMI cable to the TV (waiting time depends on your Switch’s output).
7. Make sure the Switch is pressed down firmly and fits perfectly with the Type-C interface on the dock.
8. Lower or adjust the TV Resolution settings on the Switch if necessary.
9. If the issue persists, try using a different HDMI port, HDMI cable, or TV set.
10. Remove all USB port devices from the dock and restart.
11. If needed, replace the adapter with a 39W power adapter or use a 5V/2A USB-C charger for power supply.

Optional with Protective Case (Under 2mm Thick)

When the protective case is installed on the Switch, please remove the detachable holder for installation so that the dock and the Switch can work better; When the Switch is not installed with a protective case, please install the detachable holder.

Joy-Cons Charging Station and Card Slots

Our dock station can support up to 6 joy-cons for charging. When charging, the adapter needs to be plugged in for a power supply. The charging indicator will be a red light when charging, and the light turns off when fully charged. The Switch dock station has 6 card slots can also store 6 game cards and 6 TF cards.

How to Connect Nintendo Switch to a TV

1. Connect the USB plug from the AC adapter (15v/2.6A) into the back terminal of the dock labeled “USB-C,” then connect the other end of the AC adapter to a wall outlet.
   

2. Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the back terminal of the dock labeled “HDMI”, then connect the other end into an HDMI port on your television or monitor.
   

3. Position the Switch on the dock, the Switch will automatically switch to TV mode by default. While the Switch is docked, the Switch screen will shut off and the light on dock will turn green.
   

Switch between TV Mode and Handheld Mode

Press the button at the back of the dock to switch between Hadnheld mode and TV mode.

Note

1. Nintendo Switch Lite does not support TV Mode.
2. Please use a 15V/2.6A 39W power adapter or the original power adapter.
3. The docking station must be powered on by the USB Type-C cable for the TV output & charging function to work correctly.
4. While the Switch is placed in the dock, the Switch screen will automatically shut off as the software application will be displayed on the TV screen and the light on dock will turn green.
5. Please press down your switch or switch OLED firmly so that it fits perfectly with the Type-C interface on the switch dock.

Troubleshooting

Blank Screen or No Image Displayed on the TV
Please reset the AC adapter and verify that the Switch is functioning properly in handheld mode.

1. Power off the TV and disconnect all cables from the dock.
2. Reset the AC adapter by disconnecting it from both ends for at least 30 seconds.
3. With the Nintendo Switch undocked, connect the AC adapter to the Switch and directly to a wall outlet.

If the Switch screen still does not display the picture. please continue as follows:

• Press the POWER Button on the Switch.
• Please charge it with the original charging adapter first, charge it for at least 30 minutes, and look at the edge of the screen in a dark environment to see if there is a faint bright light.
• Please press and hold the power button for at least 12 seconds to make the main unit turn off completely. After that, please turn the switch power back on.

If the Switch works fine in handheld mode, please continue as follows.

• With the Switch still undocked, ensure it has the latest system update installed.

• Connect the AC adapter(15V/2.6A) to the dock and directly to a wall outlet, then connect the HDMI cable to the dock and directly to an HDMI port on the TV set.
  Important: If a different device is being used such as a sound bar, a home theater system, or a video adapter, remove them temporarily.
  

• Power on the TV and place the powered on Switch on the dock and make sure that the Switch is awake. After connected the switch charger and the HDMI cable to your TV, the green light will stay on, please wait 8-15 seconds. (The waiting time depends on the output of your Switch)

  • By default, please don’t press the button on the back of the dock, which will turn the Switch to handheld mode.
  • Please press down your switch or switch OLED firmly so that it fits perfectly with the Type-C interface on the switch dock.

If there is still no image on the TV screen, try the following:

• Generally,after all connections are in place, your TV will has signal input by default. Sometimes you should choose the TV signal source that HDMI cable connect in. (Unlike the official dock our dock does not detect when an input is active on a Vizio or Samsung TV. You need to hit the power button on the switch itself for it to come on.).
  

• Lower or adjust the TV Resolution settings on the Switch(Main Manu — System Setting – TV Settings – TV Resolution – Automatic).

• Please confirm that the Switch is asleep, please wake the Switch by pressing the power button or the home button.
• Use a different HDMI port on the TV.
• Use a different HDMI cable.
• Use a different TV set.
• Remove all the USB port devices on the dock and then restart.
• Replace your adapter (39W power adapter is required), or you can use 5V/2A USB-C charger to supply power and try again.
