3-STEP EASY SET UP

  1. Create an Account
    Go to app.getnecto.com or scan the QR code on the right to create an account.https://app.getnecto.com

  2. Register the Device
    Enter the Device ID located on the back of the device. To access the Device ID, remove the wall mount on the device by gently sliding it downwards. Then set the desired alert settings.

  3. Power Up
    Plug in the device using the supplied cable. Then press the power button on the side of the device for 3 seconds to turn it on. Once the device successfully connects to the cellular network, the bottom LED indicator will turn solid green (this can take up to 3 minutes).

Please Note: After the device is first plugged in or moved to a new location, it can take up to 30 minutes for the sensors to adjust to their new environment, and show accurate readings.

Device Placement
The device can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on the wall. To ensure accurate readings:

  1. Place the device out of direct sunlight, and away from any heat source or vents.
  2. Make sure the small holes on the bottom of the device are kept clear of any obstructions to allow proper airflow.

How to Attach the Wall Mount

  • Peel off the sticker from the back of the wall mount, and attach it to the desired location on the wall. If attaching to a rough surface use the included screws.
  • Align the slots on the back of the device with the pegs on the wall mount. Then, gently slide the device downwards to secure it.

Important Battery Information

  • In order to maintain good battery health: (1) If your device is in use, let the battery drain for 24 hours at least once every 3 months. (2) If your device is not in use, charge it at least once every 3 months.
  • The device can take up to 24 hours to fully charge. The slow charge rate minimizes the heating of the battery, ensuring no impact on the accuracy of the temperature readings.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
