Protection from flying insects indoors and out. The dispenser can be used with insecticides as well as with 250 ml fragranced spray cans, producing up to 2,500 sprays of 100 microlitres.

Correct use

The device must be used solely to spray biocidal or room fragrance aerosols.

  • The device is designed for indoor use! When used outdoors (e.g. in the garden, on a terrace, etc.), sufficient protection against moisture should be ensured!
  • If the device is used in a manner that does not comply with the intended use and/or if modifications are made to the device, then this voids the manu-facturer’s warranty and liabilities.

Instructions for use

  • Mounting height: as high as possible, but ideally between 2 and 2.5 m.
  • Positioning: if possible in the middle of the area to be protected.

Interval in minutes| m 3| Surface area in m 2 **Ceiling height (m)**|
---|---|---|---
 |  | 3.5| 2.7|
5| 160| 45| 60| e.g. 12 x 5 m
10| 80| 25| 30| e.g. 6 x 5 m
15| 55| 16| 20| e.g. 4 x 5 m
20| 40| 11| 15| e.g. 3 x 5 m
25| 32| 9| 12| e.g. 3 x 4 m
30| 26| 8| 10| e.g. 3 x 3.30 m

  • An interval of 5 minutes for a space of 160 m3, 45 to 60 m2.
  • An interval of 10 minutes for a space of 80 m3, 25 to 30 m2.
  • An interval of 15 minutes for a space of 55 m3, 16 to 20 m2.
  • An interval of 20 minutes for a space of 40 m3, 10 to 15 m2
  • An interval of 25 minutes for a small space of 32 m3, 9 to 12 m2.
  • An interval of 30 minutes for a very small space of 26 m3, 8 to 10 m2.
  • For larger spaces, it is better to have multiple dispensers for more effective distribution of the product. During each spray, 1, 2 or 3 consecutive actuations can be triggered. This frequency can be reduced, depending on the number of windows or other openings (e.g. if a window remains partially or fully open). In this case, the pyrethrum aerosol will act more as a deterrent than as an insecticide.
  • FOR OUTDOOR USE: Set a short interval (5 minutes) and at least one double spray or even more, depending on the degree of protection required.

Operation

After inserting the aerosol and supplied batteries into the spray device and remote control, the device automatically emits a spray when the switch is set to “On”. TAKE CARE not to spray yourself directly in the face. Turn the nozzle away from your head. Secure the flap cover against unintentional opening by using the keys supplied:
Closing: insert the key with the cover closed into the device and turn it anti-clockwise by 360°.
Opening: turn the key clockwise by 360°. To open the cover, the key must be removed. Keep it in a safe place.

Pre-programming at the factory: One spray every 15 minutes and the operating mode is continuous. As soon as the first spray has been emitted, the green LED flashes three times and the countdown begins. A green light means that aerosol is available. A flashing red light + a beep every 20 seconds indicates that the aerosol is empty. When replacing the aerosol, remember to switch the device off so that the counter resets to zero.

Remote control: A light signal (three flashes) indicates that the device has accepted the new programming sequence.

  • Buttons: “on” = in operation, “off” = not in operation!
  • Pulse frequency: 5 to 30 minutes (for outdoor use, set the interval to 5 minutes).
  • 8h / 12h is the number of hours of operation per day. To cancel, press the button at the bottom right, sun / moon (24 h / 24 h).
  • Test: To test the programming sequence.
  • 1/2/3 spray modes: The spray pulses can be single, double or triple.
  • The 3 buttons at the bottom: Sun = during the daytime only; Moon = at night only; Sun / Moon = day and night, 24h / 24h.
