Window Film Installation Guide
Thank you for selecting our window film. Before you begin the installation process, please carefully review the following installation manual.
Inside the plastic tube, you will discover three free tools provided to assist you during the installation.
INSTALLATION
- Clean and Wet the glass：
- Thoroughly clean the window to ensure there is no dust on the surface.
- Spray water generously across the entire glass area.
- Measure and Cut the Film:
- Measure the Static Cling film and cut it with a 0.5-1″ extra margin on all sides.
- Take off the Backing Film:
- Remove the backing film. (Alternatively, attach two pieces of Scotch Tape to a corner of the smooth side, or directly paste the film onto the glass.)
- Spray Water Generously on the Film’s Static Side:
- The more application solutions used, the better. (Adding 2-3 drops of shampoo to the water can be helpful.)
- Paste the Film on Glass:
- Re-spray the glass before applying the film.
- Position the wet film on the window starting from the top.
- Lightly spray water on the film.
- Smooth Bubbles:
- Secure the film by squeegeeing from the centre to the edge, removing all water and air bubbles.
- Trim Edges:
- Slowly trim any excess film, guided by the squeegee. Spray the film again if needed. Repeat the squeegee process.
- Seal and Dry:
- Fold a cleaning cloth over the squeegee.
- Remove any surplus water from both the film and the frame.
