Product Overview

The M2 electric scooter is designed for riders aged 14 to 60 years with a weight range of 66.1 – 220.5 lbs (30 – 100 kg) and a height range of 3’11 – 6’6 (155 – 200 cm). The scooter comes with various features such as a saddle, seat post motor, charging port, bell, stem, safety latch, headlight, suspension fork, disc brake, built-in battery, tire, and kickstand.

This user manual will help you assemble and operate your new Electric Scooter. Be sure to read all of the information in this manual before riding.
The electric scooter should never be used by children under the age of 13, and riders under the age of 18 years old should ride under adult supervision.
Do not rider in the snow, in the rain, or no roads which are wet, muddy, icy, or that are slippery for any reason.
Do not ride over obstacles (sand, loose gravel, or sticks). Doing so could result in a loss of balance or traction and could cause a fall.

Protective equipment should be worm. Not to be used in traffic. Never hitch a ride with another vehicle.

Don’t Ride Until You Read This:

  • Always wear a helmet when riding your electric bike .
  • Make sure your electric bike has a full battery before taking it out to ride.
  • Always be aware of local road laws, and follow them.
  • Do not ride the scooter under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  •   Always respect pedestrians.
  •   Do not ride under wet conditions. The electric bike may slide from under your feet causing injury. Wet conditions may damage the electronics and void the warranty.

Warning Message

1. Avoid water – The scooter is not waterproof. The electronics may be damaged to due water and water damage is not covered by our warranty. Riding in wet conditions is also very dangerous and may result in injury.
2. Abuse – We do not cover physical damage due to negligent care and extreme riding.
3. Whenever you ride the scooter, you risk severe injury or even death of from loss control, collisions, and falls. Use caution and ride at your own risk.
4. Do not modify the product from the manufacturer’s original design.
5. Keep hands and all body parts away from moving parts while operating the scooter.
6. Before riding – Be sure to check the scooter over and make sure the scooter is operating correctly before each use.
7. Before riding – Be sure to check that the braking system is functioning properly; also be sure to check that all safety labels are in place and you understand the safety warnings.

8. Before riding – Be sure that ang and all axle guards, chain guards, or other covers or guards supplied by the manufacturer are in place and in serviceable condition.
9. Before riding – Be sure to check that the tires are in good condition, inflated properly, and have sufficient tread remaining.
10. Never exceed the 264 lbs (120 kg) maximum load rating.
11. The electric scooter should never be used by children under the age of 13.

2. Use the tool to loosen the handlebar to fix the pressing block, load the handlebar hand, and lock the pressing block (the horizontal handlebar must be centered).

3. Install the saddle: Open the quick release handle and insert the saddle, adjust the right height for you and lock the quick release.

4. The screw holes on the basket correspond to the screw holes on the rear bracket, locking 4 screws to fix.

Charge Your Scooter

Before using the scooter, you must fully charge the battery.

Charge

1. Open the rubber charging port cover.
2. Insert the charging plug into the port.
3. The charge box will show a green light when fully charged and a red light when charging.
4. When you are done charging be sure to cover the charging port to keep it clear of dust and debris.
5. Charging Time: About 5.5 hours.

Charging Requirement: Make sure to charge y our scooter in conditions that do not exceed 104 degrees Fahrenheit or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

How To Ride

Wear helmets and knee pads in case of falls and injuries when you learn to ride the scooter

1. Use the key turn on the scooter, and check the power indicator

2. Step on the deck with one foot, and slow kicks off the other on the ground

3. When the scooter starts to coast, put both feet on the deck and press the accelerator (the accelerator initiates once the coasting speed exceeds 1.86mph)

This electric scooter is a leisure device. But once they’re in a public area, they’ll be seen as vehicles, subjecting to any risks faced by vehicles. For your safety, please follow instructions in the manual and trafic laws and regulations set forth by government and regulatory agencies. At the same time, you should understand that risks cannot be entirely avoided as others may violate trafic regulations and drive incautiously, and you’re exposed to road accidents just as when you’re walking or biking. The faster the scooter is, the longer it takes to stop.

On a smooth surface, the scooter may slip, lose balance, and even result in a fall. Thus it is crucial that you use caution, keep proper speed and distance, especially so when you’re unfamiliar with the place.
Respect pedestrians’ Right of Way. Try not to startle them while driving, especially children. When you ride from behind pedestrians, ring your bell to give them a heads-up and slow your scooter to pass from their left (applicable to countries where vehicles drive on the right). When you ride across pedestrians, keep to the right at a low speed. When you drive across pedestrains, keep the lowest speed or getting off the vehicle.

Closely follow the safety instructions in the manual especially in China and countries that lack relevant laws and regulations regarding electric scooters. Superfun brand shall not be liable for any financial losses, physical injuries, accidents, legal disputes and other interest conflicts resulted from actions that violate user instructions.

Do not lend your scooter to whoever knows not the operations. And when you do lend it to your friends, please take the responsibility to ensure he/she knows the operation and wears the safety gear.
Check the scooter before every use. When you note loosen parts, low battery alerts, fat tires, excessive wear, strange sounds, malfunctions and other abnormal conditions, stop riding immediately and call for professional support.

Scooter Function Mode

1. First turn the key to the right to turn on, and turn it in reverse to turn off the headlights orpower.
2. Battery power display: When the battery is fully charged, it shows full charge (4 grids). According to the use of the battery power gradually decreases and the battery griddecreases in turn. When there is one grid left, it is marked as low power and needs to becharged in time.
3. Bell use: Press the electronic horn button.

Riding Tips

When you start riding your scooter, you need sit on the saddle, put one foot on the pedal, keep the other foot on the ground, press the accelerator and start moving.

Fold/unfold your scooter

Before folding the scooter, make sure that the scooter is powered off.
Folding: Ensure the electric scooter is powered off, open the folding buckle and fold thetiller in the direction of the front wheel (as shown).

Fold

Unfolding: Pull the tiller up and pull the folding buckle towards the pole so that the foldingbuckle is locked (make sure the folding buckle is locked before riding).

Maintenance & Repair

If you regularly clean and maintain your electric scooter, it will extend its life.

Cleaning and storage: If the scooter is dirty, wipe it clean with a soft damp cloth.

Brake adiustment: If the brake is too tight against the brake, turn the brake cable nut coun – terclockwise to loosen the brake cable.

If the brake is too loose, turn the brake cable nut clockwise to tighten the brake cable.

Tires: If you notice that the tire pressure is low, please fill to the recommented PSI on the side of the tire. Recommended PSI : 36.

DO NOT use alcohpl, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive chemical solvents to clean the scooter. It can severely damage the appearance and structure of the scooter. Please do not use a pressure washer as it may also cause damage to the electronics.

Storage: When you’re not using your scooter, store it in a dry and cool location. Avoid storing your scooter outdoors because sun exposure can damage it’s appearance and may cause wear on the life of the battery and tires.

Battery Information

Only use the approved Original power adapter to charge your scooter, others may cause risk of fire&equipment may be damaged.
Improper disposal of used batteries may seriously pollute the environment. Please comply with local disposal regulations.
Make sure to store your scooter and power adapter in conditions that do not exceed 122 degrees Fahrenheit or below 4 degrees.

Warning – Risk of Fire-No User Serviceable Parts. The prolonged exposure to UV Rays,Rain and the Elements may damage the enclosed materials. Store indoors when not in use.

NOTE
Typically, a fully charged battery should retain power for 120-180 days. A low-power battery should retain power for 30-60 days. Remember to charge the battery after each use. Completely draining the battery may cause permanent damage to the battery.

Electronics inside the battery record the charge-discharge condition of the battery; damage caused by over-charging or under-charging will not be covered by the Limited Warranty puncture the casing.
Keep the battery contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuit.

Warranty

1. Users should operate in accordance with the product manual. In case of any performance fault caused by production quality, the company shall perform the obligations of the three guarantees in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations of the state.
2. The company is still responsible for the after-sales service of the faults beyond three guarantees and the major components in the three guarantees, but there will be a cost for repair.
3. If the battery replacement is over the warranty time, our company will supply the battery at factory price. To ensure safety, and avoid pollution.
4. We do not cover physical damage due to negligent care and extreme riding.

Others

  • Before lifting moving, or otherwise transporting the scooter. Turn it off and fold the scooter. Handle with care and avoid violent force, such as throwing and heavy pressure.Keep away from fire and water.
  • Tires supplied with the product are to be mounted on the wheel by a professional repairer. Removing the wheels is complicated and incorrect assembly can lead to instability and malfunctions.

In case of accidents or breakdown, contact an authorized repairer if the product is still under warranty. lf it’s not, you can contact any specialized repairer of your choice. You can ask for the list of the authorized repairers from the customer service available [email protected].

Efforts have been made to simplify wording in the user manual for users. Where an action appears too complicated for a user, he/she is advised to contact an authorized or a specialized repairer or customer service.
