Temperature knob
- The temperature of the refrigerator compartment and the storage compartment can be adjusted via the temperature knob on the right side of the storage compartment.
- Turn the thermostat knob to control the refrigerator inner temperature. The marks on the knob do not match the temperature degrees, so the temperature can be set from 0 to 5.

- If you turn the knob from position 1 to 5, the temperature will decrease steadily.
- Place the thermostat knob in position 2 or 3 for normal operation.
Food storage
This appliance features the accessories illustrated in figure 1. Find useful
tips on food storage here below. You can remove the shelves and the crisper
drawer if necessary.
Please note
Do not allow food to touch the appliance surface directly.
Storing food in the storage compartment
This compartment helps preserve frozen perishable food for a longer period of
time.
To get better results, follow these tips:
- Store fresh and high-quality food.
- Make sure food is wrapped or correctly covered before storing it. This will prevent food from dehydrating, discolouring or losing flavour and will help maintain its freshness. It will also prevent odour transfer.
- Allow hot food to cool down before placing it in this compartment.
Dairy products and eggs
- Most pre-packed dairy products have a best-before date. Store them and use them within the best-before date.
- Butter can be easily contaminated by strong odours, so it is best to keep it in a sealed container.
Red meat
- Place fresh red meat in a dish and cover it without pressing it with wax paper, plastic, or aluminium foil.
- Store raw and cooked meat in different dishes. This will prevent liquids from transferring from raw meat and contaminating cooked meat.
Poultry
- You must rinse fresh whole poultry inside and outside under cold running water, dry it, and place it on a plate. Cover it without pressing with plastic or aluminium foil.
- You must also store poultry meat this way. Stuff whole poultry right before cooking it. Otherwise, it can lead to food poisoning.
Fish and seafood
- You must consume whole fish and fillets on the day of purchase. Until then, store them in the refrigerator covered without pressing with plastic, wax paper or aluminium foil.
- If you wish to store food at night or for a longer period of time, try to select really fresh fish. You must rinse whole fish with cold water to remove scales and dirt, and then dry it with paper towels. Place whole fish or fillets in an airtight plastic bag.
- Keep seafood refrigerated at all times. Consume it within 1-2 days.
Convenience food and leftovers
- You can store this food in an appropriate and covered container so food does not dry.
- Conserve it only for 1-2 days.
Crisper drawer
- The crisper drawer is ideal location for fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Be careful not to store this food at temperatures below 7ºC for long periods of time.
- There may be undesired changes at low temperature, like softening, browning or accelerated decomposition.
- Do not store avocados (until ripe), bananas or mangoes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- You must clean the refrigerator at least once a month. Before cleaning it, you must unplug it from the power supply.
- Clean the interior and the exterior of the appliance with a soft and slightly damp cloth.
- If it is too dirty, use a soft cloth with neutral detergent and remove moist with a dry cloth.
- Remember to clean the defrosting drain, located on the rear part, right above the glass cover.
If you wish to keep the refrigerator off for a long period of time, follow these steps:
- Unplug the refrigerator from the power supply.
- Remove the food.
- Clean and dry the interior of the refrigerator.
- Leave the door open to prevent unpleasant odours while the refrigerator is not used.
Defrosting
- If the refrigerator runs for a long time, frost will appear on the interior surface of the storage compartment. This could increase the energy consumption and decrease the refrigeration capacity. For that reason, you must clean the storage compartment at least once a month.
- When doing so, turn off the power, open the door and move the food to a cold place. Use a plastic spatula to remove the frost. Next, remove the frost and clean the interior of the storage compartment with a dry and soft cloth.
Note
Do not use metallic tools to clean the storage compartment, as they could
damage it.
