Installation essentials of the horn
Security matters
In order to use the horn safely, please be sure to observe the following items

Cautions before installation
Cautions
Please confirm the original horn voltage (12V/24V) before installation.
The mismatch of the voltage will cause the horn to fail to work or be damaged,
and there may be malfunction or accident.
When installing this product, the existing horn and wire should be removed. If
used with existing horn at the same time It will cause the current to
increase and blow the fuse, and will make the sound pressure exceed the safety
standard.
Please don’t knock and drop this product.
Don’t paint or laminate this product. Fluids such as paint can cause
malfunction when they enter the interior.
Please don’t disassemble or modify this product to avoid malfunction or
accident.
Please do not install this product in high temperature (above l 76°F) places
to avoid malfunction.
Warning:Always remove the negative battery terminal before install ation.
Operating with the battery connected may cause a short circuit, causing fire
and personal injury.
Warning: Wiring should use AV0.5 or higher specifications, and the ter minals
used should match the specifications of the other terminal. And use insulation
cover, insulation tape, etc. to ensure insulation. If the wiring, terminal
specifications do not match, or poor insulation is likely to cause the
product to malfunction, or cause a fire due to short circuit.
Warning: Avoid movable objects and high temperature places when wiring. It
should be fixed well, do not make it sag and swing. If the wiring is entangled
with movable objects or melted by heat, it is likely to cause car failure or
fire caused by short circuit.
Warning: Connect each terminal practically to the end. If the terminal is not
fully inserted. Once disconnected, it will short circuit with the car body and
may cause a fire.
How to install the horn (the following pictures are all horn with 2 terminals)

Use M6 bolts to install the horn on the rigid part of the car body steel plate.
Note
If the mounting part is not rigid, the volume will decrease and the sound quality will deteriorate.Moreover, the product may fall off due to the damage of the mounting part.
Please don’t install this product in high temperature (above l 76°F) places to avoid malfunction. -
Please don’t touch the body and other parts during installation.
Note
If the horn is in contact with the body and other parts, it may cause the sound quality to deteriorate, and it may not sound properly. -
The opening part of the snail-shaped horn should be placed below during installation so that water will not enter through the opening part.
Note
Water entering the opening of the horn will cause malfunction, so please install it in a place where water cannt easily enter.
For disc-shaped horn -
Please don’t bend and deform the support plate used to mount the horn.
Note
Bending or deformation of the support plate will cause the sound quality to deteriorate and may not sound properly.
Wiring method
1: Please use the special wiring harness for horns purchased separately.
However, the wiring used for grounding (4 5 6) should use the same bundle of
wires.
- Relay for horn (30A, 4-terminal normally open (a-node) type).
- Box with fuse (30A).
- Additional wiring for relays and fuses, terminals.
- JIS-standard automotive board terminals for horn wiring (with insulation cover).
- Wire for grounding wiring.
- Terminals for grounding wiring.
Warning
Please wire according to the diagram. If the wiring is wrong, the horn will
not so und, and the fuse on the car will blow out.
2: This horn is a standard board terminal, but if it is different from the
existing horn terminal type, Special adapters need to be purchased for non
destructive installation.
