Getting Started
To start the device, press the power button. Touch the power button again to turn the screen back on.

Brightness & Volume Control
To adjust brightness and volume, press the SETUP button on the Main menu screen and navigate to the respective settings.

Part 2: Setup

  1. APP Link
    Use APP Link to control features via your mobile device. The APP LINK user interface will be displayed on your mobile device.

  2. Bluetooth
    Turn ON/OFF Bluetooth using the designated button.

  3. Language
    Select the preferred language for the device.

Part 1. Basic Operations

Getting Started

System Start

  1. To start the system, the vehicle ignition key switch must be in the ACC or engine ON position.
  2. Press “Power” button to tum on power of the unit
  3. After Logo image display, Main Menu will appear on Main Controller Screen.

Return to the previous Menu

Screen Off

  • Press the button on the unit.
  • The audio of AV keeps playing while the screen is turned off. Touch the power button to turn the screen on againMyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(7\)

Brightness & Volume Control

  1. Press the SETUP button on the Main menu screen.

Choosing the File from the File List

  • Move to the file list
    Touch the screen and drag upwards or downwards to scroll through a file list

  • Move to a folder in the file list t Touch a folder from the file list.

  • Return to Previous Folder icon to move to the upper level folder.

Part 2. Setup

Press the SETUP button on the Main menu screen

WIFI Setting

  • The Wi-Fi connection status is always display on upper center of the screen.
  • Touch the WIFI setting, and tum On WIFI makes your device able to connect to compatible in-range wireless access point (WAPS).
  • To access network Touch the WIFI network field and the network you went to connect ,
  • Enter a wireless password if necessary

APP Link

  • APP LINK is a feature that allows you to control the APP LINK via your mobile device to play videos or look at pictures, the APP LINK user interface will be displayed on your mobile device.MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(13\)
  • Turn on personal hotspot on your mobile device. • Select MyCar Link in the system menu. • Connect to your personal hotspot from the APP LINK monitor. • Open the MyCar Link app on your mobile device. • Select the MyCar Link monitor of your preference. • Once selected the MyCar Link user interface will be displayed on the mobile device. • You can now control the MyCar Link via your mobile device.

Speaker

  • Radio Transmitter
    Press On/Off buttons to tum Radio Transmitter On/Off.

  • Radio Frequency
    Press the button or to tum previous or next page, once the frequency has been selected tune the vehicle radio.
    There are total 5 FM Channel pages containing frequency from 88.1~107.90MHz in 0.2MHz step.
    Note: (FM tips) First, turn on the device’s FM, tune to a channel without local programs, and then adjust the car’s FM to the same channel.

INFORMATION
For best result, select a station with minimal background noise or existing broadcast in your area, the best method to do this is to first turn the FM transmitter feature OFF, and then check the following stations one by one to look for the one with least interference or existing broadcasts-88.1, 88.3, 88.5…107.7,107.9. Ideally you should find a station with a clean “white noise”. Set this as one of your pre-sets on the car’s stereo, then turn ON the transmitter and adjust the frequency on the Rear Seat Entertainment to match this number.

Bluetooth
Touch the ON/OFF button to turn ON/OFF of bluetooth

Language
Press either of English, Arabic, French, Spanish or German to change the main menu language.
Information

  • Press the Information button on the Setup mode screen.
  • This will display version numbers of the Firmware and application.
  • Press the Factory Reset button to return system to the factory default
  • Press the back button to move back to the previous mode.
  • Press the “CHECK FOR UPDATE” button to check for new software availability.

INFORMATION
The factory reset process will take 2~ Jmin. Do not power off the system during factory reset in progress.
When monitors are connected to a Wi-Fi, the monitors will be able to receive software updates if software update is available. The system will require periodic updates which are managed through “Over-the-Air” software updates, an “Update Available” message will appear on the home screen of the monitors.

Part 3. Music

Press the Music button on the Main menu screen.

Music Mode Window Components

  1. Album Art: Display the album image of the current file that is playing.
  2. Play time: Display the play time of the current file.
  3. Total Time: Display the total play time of the file.
  4. Repeat/Shuffle Button: Turn the Repeat/Shuffle function ON / OFF.
  5. Previous Button: Select previous track.
  6. Play/Pause Button: Play or pauses the file.
  7. Next Button: Select next track.

Part 4. Photo

Press the Photo button on the Main menu screen.

Photo Mode Widow Components

  1. Previous button: Select previous photo.
  2. Next button: Select next photo.
  3. Aspect Ratio button: Select ratio 3:4 or 16:9 aspect ratio.
  4. Slide show button: Set the slide show timing.
  5. File List Button: Enters the media file list
  6. Photo Title Display: Display the title of the photo.

Photo Mode Basic Actions

Slide Show

  1. Press the play Button
  2. Setup the show time. The next photo will be automatically displayed after the set time is reached.

Aspect Ratio

  1. Press the Aspect Ratio button to switch the screen mode to 16:9.

Part 5. Video

Press the Video button on the Main menu screen.

Video Mode Window Components

  1. Play Time: This display the play time of the video.
  2. Title: Display the title information of the current file.
  3. Aspect Ratio: Select screen ration aspect 16:9 or 4:3.
  4. Previous Button: Select previous video file.
  5. Play/Pause Button: Play or pauses your video.
  6. Next Button: Select next video file.
  7. File List Button: Enters the media file list

Video Mode Basic Actions

  1. Press the file list Button

  4. Slide up or down on the left of the screen to adjust the brightness level.

Part 6. HDMI

  • Connect the AV equipment and the rear seat entertainment with HDMI cable.
  • The screen will show icon if the HDMI cable Disconnected with the device or AV signal source not detected.MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(36\)
  • Connect the HDMI button on the main menu screen.
  • Video and Audio output from connected AV device will be played by RSE.MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(37\)

Phone Link is a feature that allows you to enjoy music stored on mobile devices, your videos or pictures through Rear seat entertainment system.

  1. Mirroring Function with Android Phones OS software version has to be minimum 6.0 onwards.
  2. iPhone Mirroring/AirPlay OS is compatible iOS 15 version and below.
  3. Operation will vary depending on the Android device and software version of the Android OS.
  4. Compatibility with all Android devices is not guaranteed.

Phone Link Connection

How to connect Android phone.

  1. Press the Phone link button on the Main menu screen.

  3. The device name and the operating system will appear on the screen.
  4. Select “Multi-screen interaction” in the Android system and find the corresponding device name needed to connect and then click to select.
  5. After successful connection, picture operated on Mobile phone will synchronously display on the device.
  6. Select “Multi-screen interaction” of mobile phone, and then select “Back to my device” and then you can exit mobile phone interconnection.

How to connect 10S phone.

  1. Press the Phone link button on the Main menu screen.

  4. Press the Personal Hotspot of your device, tum on the “Hotspot” and enter the Wi-Fi hotspot password on the setting screen.MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(45\)
  5. Search connectible Wi-Fi hotspot of iOS device. Press scan button and select your device hotspot from the list and then press Start button.

  7. Press the “Airplay” button on the iPhone.

INFORMATION
When connected with AirPlay on and mirroring function off, IOS is able to play videos on the RSE and will still allow you to use your phone’s other functions on the iPhone itself.

Phone Link Disconnection

  1. Turn off (screen mirroring, Miracast, Airplay) from your smartphone to disconnect Phone link mode.

Part 8. AUX Mode

*This function is only available on Main Controller Unit.
The rear seat passenger can enjoy the same video file that is being played on the front Audio Video Navigation (AVN) unit in the vehicle through an optional connection that can be  fitted.

  1. Play a video file of AVN at driver side.
  2. Press the AUX button on the specific RSE that users desire to play.

INFORMATION
Aux function will only be utilized when the system is connected the compatible AV output from the front AVN unit.
please see your authorized vehicle service centre for further information on enabling this optional feature.

Part 9. Lights

Part 10. Installation

  1. Step 1: Press the buttons on both sides of the long bracket to open both ends of the bracket.
    Then choose one set suitable of drive pipe from the provided drive pipes, and install them into the long bracket. (applicable diameters are: 10.2, 11.2, 12.2, 14, 16 mm)MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig-

  2. Step 2: Adjust the long bracket with drive pipes to the best length according to the distance between the two poles of your headrest, then press both ends of the long bracket to fix it into your car’s headrest.MyCar-Link-1250A-Rear-Seat-Entertainment-System-fig- \(53\)

  3. Step 3: Press and hold the button on the upper back of the player and insert the small bracket into the player.
    Then select a suitable position and release the button, the small bracket will be fixed in the position you choose.

  4. Step 4: Insert the small bracket fully into the hole of the long bracket on the headrest and push the switch to the lock position.

Part 11. Device Connection

  1. The main unit and auxiliary unit are same displayed on the screen, and HDMI connection mode is required.

Precautions

  • The product is subject to change without notice.
    The Screens Shown in the examples may differ from actual screens, which may be changed without notice for performance and function improvement.

  • Monitor Protection
    To protect the monitor from damage, do not operate the monitor using a ball point pen or similar tool with the sharp tip.

  • Cleaning
    When cleaning the touch screen, turn off the unit and use the soft cleaning cloth. Please do not use cloths such as those made with hard, chemical, or oiled materials (alcohol, benzene, etc.) This may damage or distort the surface of the unit.

  • Do not disassemble or repair the system. If problem exists, please contact your local dealer for advice.

  • If the vehicle was parked in a very cold or very hot place, you may see a blank screen, distorted picture.

  • The system will return to normal after the unit temperature returns to a normal operating range. This may take more than an hour depending on the temperature.

Warning
Please do not insert a separate USB device which supplies power to the multimedia USB port.
