XX squeeze-on is highly lipophilic, spreading across the pet’s body surface within 24 hours and stored in sebaceous glands for continuous release. It remains effective for more than a month, even after exposure to water. The product is safe for pregnant pets as it does not enter the bloodstream.
How to Use
- Ensure the coat is dry, then cut the tip of the tube.
- Spread apart the hair between the shoulder blades, squeeze, and apply the drops directly to the skin.
- Do not apply to the hair to ensure efficiency.
- Use one dose per pet monthly.
- Avoid bathing 48 hours before and after dosing.
Precautions
Use as directed on the packaging. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Consult a veterinarian before use on sick or debilitated animals.
Main ingredients
The unique formulation is composed of the following two a.i. (Active ingredients):
- Fipronil ─ An adulticide that effectively kills adult fleas and ticks.
- Fleas start sucking blood immediately after jumping on dogs and cats, and females always lay eggs after 24-36 hours. Prophylactically used Fipronil would kill fleas within 12 hours (before the female flea lays eggs) which could effectively block flea reproduction.
- (S)-Methoprene – An insect growth regulator (IGR).
- S-Methoprene can wholly break the flea life cycle by inhibiting the hatching of flea eggs and the development of young fleas and flea pupae. Thereby preventing repeated flea infections in the home environment. Providing comprehensive and efficient protection for pets and families.
Principle of efficacy
XX squeeze-on is highly lipophilic. After applying to pet’s scapula, it would be spread along with sebum to whole body surface within 24 hours and stored in pet’s sebaceous glands. The stored ingredients will be continuously released along with the oil produced by the sebaceous glands and replenished along the hair follicles to the entire body surface. This is the reason why squeeze-on remains effective for more than a month, even after bathing, playing in water, or swimming.
XX squeeze-on is safe even for pregnant dogs and cats. Because the drops are stored on the surface of the body and sebaceous glands that do not enter the body’s blood circulation. XX squeeze-on is ‘touch kill’, no biting needed. The drug will affect the flea and tick nervous systems, so that they continue to be excited, and finally energy-exhausted to death. The parasite dies after touching the drop rather than after sucking the blood, which enabled the drop’s quick-action.

User FAQ
Why do I see more fleas on my pet after using the drops?
The reason is that the agent will over-stimulate the flea's nervous system, causing the flea to die from over-excitement. Fleas lose their ability to recognize their direction and move from the root of the hair where they were hiding to the top of the hair, thus giving the illusion that there are more fleas! No need to worry, it means the drop is working!
Why can I still see fleas and ticks on my dog and cat after two weeks of use?
Since there is no avoidance effect, as long as there are fleas or their offspring in the living environment, there is a chance for them to infect your pet. But don't worry, as long as you keep using the drop monthly, these fleas would get killed within 12 hours. In the case of severe infection, fleas may have to be seen continuously for 3 to 4 months until all newly hatched fleas in the pet's living environment have been killed.
Can I put the drops on any part of my dog or cat?
No, you cannot. It is recommended to apply the drop to an area that cannot be licked by the pet, such as the skin between the shoulder blades. Kindly note, the drops must be applied to the skin, not the hair, because the drops need to be spread throughout the body by the skin oil.
Do I need to use the drops even if my dog or cat does not leave the house?
Yes. Fleas can also take advantage of the owner by hitchhiking and enter the home environment with people or hidden in objects. And pets are ideal hosts for fleas and ticks, so without regular help with drops for indoor dogs and cats, there is still a high chance that the infection will spread without you knowing it.
Can I bathe my dog and cat or let them play with water after using the drops?
Yes. The drops are stored in the sebaceous glands and are continuously replenished along with sebum and spread to the whole body, so the drops have excellent waterproof properties. In order to get the best effect, it is recommended to avoid bathing 48 hours before and after the dosing to ensure that the drops are stored in place.
Do I need to use drops even if it is cold in winter?
The fleas would reproduce whenever there is suitable temperature and humidity. Due to the increasing use of heating and humidifying devices, fleas can continue to survive and even reproduce in many indoor environments in winter. Therefore, for the health of your pet and the tidiness of your home, drops are recommended to be used regularly year-round.
How long does it take for my dog and cat's fur to dry after using the drops?
The drops will dry in about a few hours, depending on how wet the animal's fur is. After the hair is dried, you can pet your dog or cat normally.
Can dogs and cats be poisoned if they lick the drop? What should I do?
The main ingredients of the drops are safe and will not cause poisoning even if licked by cats and dogs. Safety tests have shown, it is safe for cats to accidentally eat 27 times the dose, and for dogs to accidentally take 80 times the dose. However, because our solvent contains a slightly bitter odor, most cats and some dogs do not like this odor and may experience transient drooling symptoms after licking, which would self-recover later. A few more sensitive dogs and cats may produce raw gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms, and only symptomatic treatment is required.
Can the drops be used for animals other than dogs and cats?
The drops are designed for flea and tick control in dogs and cats. Their efficacy and safety have only been in dogs and cats. The efficacy and safety of the drops on other animals have not yet been studied, so it is not recommended for use on animals other than dogs and cats.
Can I buy just one large size of drops to use together if I have multiple puppies at home?
Sharing is not recommended. Because of the small quantity of the drop, it is difficult to guarantee that each dog will get enough drops. It is recommended to use a whole tube for each dog and cat in the household that matches its weight. Once fleas and ticks are found on one of the dogs and cats, all other animals should be given the drops at the same time.
