Mobile APP Set-up

Step 1: Download the “Smart Life” App
- Scan the QR code below to download the ”Smart Life” App.
- You can also download this app through the App Store/Android Playstore, search “Smart Life”.

Step 2 : Create an account and Login
- Open the Smart Life App, click Register to create an account and login.
- If already registered, login.

Step 3 : Selecting the device
With the wifi adapter plugged in, press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, then quickly press the power button 5 times. LED indicator will flash red.- Click “Add Device” or the ‘+’ in the top right corner
- If the adapter does not automatically appear, follow the next steps.
- Click ‘Electrical’ then ‘Socket (Wi-Fi)’ to enter the device connection interface.
- Step 4a: Mobile phone connection EZ Mode Connection
- Enter the network Name and WiFi password for your home, click Next (WiFi must be set to 2.4GHz).
- Follow on-screen directions.
- Confirm LED indicator is blinking, select “Blink Quickly”.
- Device will connect.
- Step 4b: Mobile phone connection AP Mode Connection
- Enter the network Name and WiFi password for your home, click Next (WiFi must be set to 2.4GHz).
- Follow on-screen directions.
- Confirm LED indicator is blinking, select “Blink Slowly”.
- Go the your phones WiFi settings and connect to the light’s Wifi hotspot: “Smartlife-XXXX”
- Return to the Smart Life App and wait for the connection to complete.
- Click “Done”.
Mobile APP Operation
- Select “Power”, this is where you will turn the load ON and OFF by pressing the plug icon. You may also press “Power” to turn ON/OFF.
- Select “Timer” to set a on and off function of the plug.
- Add schedule and then save. Repeat as desired.
- Click the Edit icon in the top right corner to enter the device details interface.
- Select ‘Share Device’ to enter the device sharing settings.
- You may also share all devices in your account with another account.
- Go to the “Me” at the bottom of the App.
- Select “Home Management” and select the home you would like to share with.
- Select “Add Memeber”. You can send the invite via your Smart Life account, Message, or Email. New members must have or create an account with Smart Life.

- Open the Alexa app and select “Skills” from the top menu
- On the Skills page, search for Smart Life
- Enable Smart Life in the Alexa App
- Login with your Smart Life account (user and password)
- Discover new smart devices in the app or ask Alexa to discover new devices
For Google Home
- Open the Google Home App and tape th “+” icon in the homepage
- Select “Set Up Device” in the “Add and Manage” screen
- In the “Set Up” screen, tap “New Devices” to set up new devices in your home
- Tap “Works with Google” to authorize Google Home to work with your Smart Life account

Trouble-Shooting/Tips
- LED indicator is RED, load is ON.
- LED indicator is BLUE, load is OFF.
- To reset the adapter, hold the power button for 5 sec.
- Check the router. If the router is dual-band, make sure to select 2.4GHz network to add the adapter. Router Broadcast should be set to open. Also try disabling the 5GHz band temporarily on the router.
- Make sure the WiFi username and password are correct.
- Make sure the adapter is within the range of the router signal. If not, try moving closer to the router. Check WiFi signal on the mobile device to make sure the signal is strong.
- If the device is not going into pairing mode, try unplugging the adapter and replugging it in after 10 seconds, then hold the power button for 10 seconds.
- If the internet signal is lost, the adapter will still allow you to power on and off the load within a certain distance.
