Product Usage Instructions

Setup

Before starting, ensure you have installed any required drivers for your USB devices.

  1. Place the Polaris Matrix in the desired location and connect it to a power source using the provided 24V 2.71A adapter.
  2. Connect the RS232 or Ethernet connection to your desired controller or network.
  3. Connect up to four hosts and four devices to the Polaris Matrix as needed.

Testing USB Connections

  • Optionally, you can use the test button on the front faceplate to test USB connections. Refer to the online user guide for detailed instructions.

Configuring the Polaris Matrix

  • Use APIs on the RS232 or APIs and GUI on the Ethernet interface to configure the Polaris Matrix according to your requirements.

Note on USB Ports

  • For higher-power devices, such as USB-powered cameras or Mass Storage devices, connect them to the USB-C ports for higher power output.

Using Instructions

  • Place the Polaris Matrix where desired connect it to a power source using the included 24V 2.71A adapter and tighten the locking ring.

  • Connect RS232 or Ethernet connection to the desired controller or network.

  • Connect up to four hosts to the Polaris Matrix.

    • IP: 192.168.0.254
    • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: 192.168.0.1
    • Port: 23
  3. Auto Switching Off
  4. GUI, Network API, and RS232 Interfaces Unlocked
  5. UserID: USER
  6. User Password: USER
  7. AdminID: ADMIN
  8. Admin Password: ADMIN
