OUTDOOR WOODEN ROLLER BLINDS
Installation Instructions
- Unpackage the blind and place onto a stable and level surface.
- Remove the 2 eye hooks taped onto the head of the blind.
- Measure and mark up two locations to drill the head of the blind, on either side of the pulley device and at equal distance from the edge.
- Drill the head of the blind at both marked locations and screw in the eye hooks firmly.
- Measure and mark up your intended window or door, approximately 25cm above the glazing to align with the hooks on the blind. This will allow you to pull up the blind so that it sits above the window door.
- Source the appropriate stainless steel fixings for your window or door, to drill and fix onto the façade. If in, doubt seek advice from a DIY store.
- Hang the blind onto the wall or ceiling fixings.
- Optional for windows opening outwards. Fix 2 No. 35mm deep wooden batons on either side of the locking device to bring the blind forward and allow the window to slightly open.
- Fix the cleat provided 1.5 metres above the floor. Wind the cord in a figure of eight after each use to ensure any spare cord is securely contained on the cleat.
TO AVOID STRANGULATION, KEEP THE CORD OUT OF THE REACH OF YOUNG CHILDREN
User Instructions
- Operating from outside: Pull the cord to raise the blind and pull firmly to the left to lock in position. Pull to the right to unlock.
- Operating from inside: Pull firmly to the right to lock, pull to the left to unlock.
- Ensure that the blind is firmly locked in place.
- NOT FOR USE BY CHILDREN
Cleaning & maintenance
- Lightly brush off any leaves or debris.
- Hose down with a light spray or wipe down with a damp cloth.
