Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started:

Power on the device by pushing the power switch on the left side of the product.

The display will show the product logo and the device is ready to connect to a charging station socket.

Selecting Modes:

Select a mode to test and simulate on the charging stations. The modes include:

• Ready to start test
• Simulate charging
• Disconnected (displays current if available, status on L1, L2 & L3)
• Connected (simulates a connected status)
• Charging (simulates charging status)
• Cable Fail (simulates fail on charging cable)
• Pilot Fail (simulates pilot fail from vehicle)
• Select Cable coding (sets the cable coding for tests)

Connecting to Smartphone:

1. Install the Viking Two Application
2. Open Viking Two application
3. Turn on Device
4. Device ID will show in application
5. Tap on Device ID (5 digits)

Charging the Device:

Insert a Micro USB charging cable at the bottom of the device.

After use, remember to turn the device off by pushing the power switch to maximize battery life.

APPLICATION

Testing and diagnosis of charging stations for electric vehicles (EV). By using the product display interface or Android™ or Apple® IOS™ smartphone the Viking Two will simulate and test charging operations on an EV charger and let the operator switch between different modes and read real-time data.

INSTALLATION

When unpacking make sure the device has not been damaged in transport. See www.viking-two.com for more information. We recommend charging the device for up to 1 hour the first time, to fully charge the lithium Li-ion battery. The smartphone App is available on Google play™ & Apple® App store™

How to connect to smartphone.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Keep the product dry and frost free, not over + 40 ° C, out of reach of children and other unauthorized persons.
Please use the products carry case when not in use and/or during transport. Clean the equipment with a soft, dry cloth. The cloth can be washed in soapy water if the equipment is very dirty.
NB Never use chemicals to clean – it can damage your equipment viewable. Avoid violent shock during use and/or transportation.
