How to use
- When you receive the product, the remote control and the receiver are already matched, you only need to clip the receiver in the correct place on the screen, press the button on the receiver, and then press the page button on the remote control to turn the page.
- After reading, please remove the receiver promptly and store it properly to avoid long-term stress on the receiver and affecting its service life.
Important notes:
- The total thickness of the e-reader and the protective shell shall not exceed 11.5mm(0.45 inches); If more than, please remove the protective case.
- When pressing the button of the remote control or receiver, if the indicator light is not on or the red light is blinking, please charge it in time.
- The input voltage is DC 5V, which can be charged with the mobile phone charger.
- Keep receiver trigger points clean.
- During use, make sure the receiver trigger point is close to the screen. And ensure that the silicone pad 2 effectively contacts the screen.
- When reading e-books, the remote control has a forward function and a reverse function. The receiver clipped on the left side of the screen is the reverse function, and the receiver clipped on the right side is the forward function.
- If you need to use the remote control to control your phone to use the selfie function, the receiver must be clipped onto the confirmation button on the screen.
- In the case of all green lights, if you press the page-turning button of the remote control, the indicator light of the receiver does not flash, please re-match. (Press and hold the button on the receiver for 3 seconds. When the green light is long on, press the page-turning button of the remote control. At this time, the green light of the receiver flashes, indicating that the match is successful.)
- When the receiver has no operation for 10 minutes, it will automatically enter the standby mode, and press the button on the receiver to reactivate it.
- The other small button on the remote control is the lighting switch. Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on the lights, and press again to turn off the lights.
- When the e-reader cannot turn the page, please try the following solutions.
- A. Try more positions and directions on the screen to find the right trigger point.
- B. Close the e-reader screen and then open it again.
- C. Clip the receiver to a number in your phone’s calculator APP and test if it works. If the above methods are still unable to solve, please contact our customer service via support@hoganess.com.
