- Unroll the Pressure Pad and lay it flat on your mattress. Make sure the inflation tubes are facing up and positioned at the head or foot of the bed depending on w here you plan to place the ‘ Pressure Pump.
- Use the built in metal hooks to hang the pressure pump over the bed frame at the foot of the bed (recommended). You may also lay the pump flat on a table.
- Connect the two inflation tubes to the pressure pump and pressure pad.
- Plug the pressure pump into a standard US 11OV electrical outlet.
- Turn the pump on and adjust the pressure dial to the “Firm” setting to speed up inflation. Wait until the mattress has been fully inflated before using (inflation time: Approx. 8 min) .
- Adjust the pressure dial to find the most comfortable setting for the user.
HOW IT WORKS
The Vive Alternating Pressure Pad Lite has 760 bubble air cells. The air cells are divided into two different sections. Each section is connected separately to the pressure pump. The pressure pump automatically alternates between sections in 6 minute intervals. The pressure dial on the front of the pressure pump allows you to adjust the pad pressure from soft to firm. Regard less of the pressure setting the pump will always alternate in 6 minute intervals.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Use cloth with a mild detergent solution or a surface detergent/disinfectant
for cleaning the pad and hose.
Wipe down the pump with a dry cloth.
REPAIR GUIDE
Small Punctures: Use the patch kit.
- Fully deflate the unit.
- Take the patch and add glue around the edges.
- Firmly place the patch over the puncture. Hold for 20 seconds until the glue is dried.
- Let stand for 30 minutes.
