ALUMINIO BRA 2022 TR Express Coffee Maker
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE FOLLOWING THE GRAPHIC SCHEME.
- Fill the bottom part of the coffee maker with water just under to the level of the valve. The water level must not be higher than the level of the valve.
- Place the funnel inside the body of the coffee maker. This coffee maker is only suitable for ground coffee for domestic use.
- Fill the funnel with ground coffee.
- Close the coffee maker by screwing it down until it seals completely.
- If the user wants to reduce the coffee content, place the reducer into the funnel first and then fill it with ground coffee. It is very IMPORTANT to place the coffee and the reducer in the correct order. Do not ever place the reducer on top of the ground coffee.
- Place the coffee maker over a low heat and remove it when all the coffee has come out.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Keep away from children during the usage.
- Steam jet may eject from the safety valve. Please ensure that the steam jet is oriented away from the user during the usage.
- The coffee maker is designed for only making coffee in the specific way. Please don‘t use it for other purposes.
- Surfaces may be hot and may cause injuries. Please use handle and knob during handling the coffee maker.
- The water level must not be higher than the level of the valve.
- Coffemaker can not be used without water in the bottom container.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Use water with a low time content.
- We recommend you use a low heat and avoid the flames coming round the sides of the coffee maker.
- The coffee should not be ground too finely, nor should it be forced into the chamber.
- Only use ground coffee, never use coffee extracts or infusions.
- This coffee maker works under pressure, therefore IT SHOULD NEVER BE OPENED WHEN HOT. To open it, cool it down by passing it under cold water.
- The rubber joint should be changed each year.
- We recommend using original BRA spares to keep the coffee maker in good working order.
- This coffee maker works under pressure. Improper use can cause scalding. Make Sure that it is well closed before using it.
If the coffee does not come out of the column and there is some steam
coming out from the screw area:
Cool down the coffee maker under a stream of cold water, remake the open
and closing operation and restart the heating in the stove. If there some
steam loss again you may have to replace the silicone gasket.
In the event that the working valve releases steam:
- If the coffee comes out the upper column, reduce the heat to the minimum level to lower the pressure.
- If there is no coffee coming out the upper column and there is a strong whistle, turn off the heat, cool the coffee maker, check that the coffee collector has been correctly loaded (the blend must not be over-pressed or over-grounded), or if the column or the filter are obstructed.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before using the coffee maker for the first time, you should wash it with soap and hot water and then practice using it with just water.
- It is advisable to wash the fi Iter, its housing, the tube and the funne with lots of water regularly.
- After washing, dry the inside of the coffee maker with a dry cloth and store it in a ventilated place.
- Do not wash in the dishwasher
- Prior to each use check that the valve is clean and from blockages. To do so, press the ball inside the safety valve, and ensure that it moves and is not blocked.
- The filter and the funnel should be cleaned properly so that the grid holes are clear.
- Don’t use bleach or products containing chlorine. They damage aluminum.
GUARANTEE
The term of this guarantee is three years from the date of purchase of the
product, and covers possible manufacturing defects but does not cover defects
caused by misuse of the machine, inappropriate use or damage caused by blows.
To use of this guarantee, consumers should always go to the establishment
where the product was bought, taking the proof of purchase. Only in the event
that to do the above is impossible or too costly may consumers contact the
manufacturer in order to claim for the repair or replacement of the product,
sending the claim by post to:

Possible defective products covered by this guarantee will be accepted, repaired and/or replaced free of charge and returned free of charge to the purchaser. This guarantee does not affect the consumer’s rights in accordance with the contents of RDL 1/2007, General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users. This document will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain, with Spanish Courts being competent for settling any possible difference.
- In the event that the product was purchased in a country other than Spain, consumers should always go to the establishment where the product was bought, taking proof of purchase in order to use the guarantee. Only in the event that the above is impossible or too costly may consumers contact the importer as indicated by the aforementioned establishments.
