SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Never allow children to play in, or around the water barrel.Always securely attach the lid to avoid a child drowning.
• Never drink water from the water storage barrel. Use water from the water storage barrel for watering or outdoor cleaning purposes only.
• It is recommended to add a couple inches of tap water to the water storage barrel for added weight and stability to prevent movement by heavy wind etc.

MAINTENANCE

• Check the filter regularly, and clean if necessary.
• Empty the barrel at the end of the season and store it in a frost-free place to prevent it from being damaged.
• Store the barrel out of the reach of children.

MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION

If the rain barrel has the leaking problem, there may be several reasons:

DON’T FORGET TO USE THE RUBBER WASHER

• There are three rubber washers in total. Install two on the Overflow Valve and one on the High Flow White Spigot.
• When you install the overflow spout, be sure each port has one rubber washers. Put one outside of the rain barrel and the other one inside.
• Rubber washers have one flat side and one side with concentric groves. Be sure one side with concentric groves should face the barrel sidewall.

TIGHTEN THE CONNECTIONS ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM LEAKING

• Make sure you follow the directions to assemble the collapsible rain barrel and the connections are tight and don’t come apart. It can effectively prevent water leakage.

USING PLUMBING TAPE PROVIDED ON ALL THE CONNECTORS IF NECESSARY

• If you tighten and seal the connection well and the leakage problem is still there, you can first use the attached PTFE Plumbers Tape to deal with it urgently. OR contact us to get help.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:  Assemble Acrylic Tube for Storage Visualization

• Insert the PVC tubing into the transpar­ent tube slot.
• Slide the PVC tubing onto the holder until it is in the desired position. It may be helpful to use a bit of lubricant, such as dish soap, to make the tubing slide on more easily.

Step 2:  Assemble Downspout Spigot

• Tighten the Downspout Spigot onto the rain barrel clockwise.

Step 3:  Assemble Overflow Valve

• Insert the valve into the TOP hole of the rain barrel.
  • (Make sure one rubber washer is outside of the rain barrel,the other one is inside)

Step 4:  Assemble the High Flow White Spigot

• Put a rubber ring around the joint,and then tighten the High Flow White Spigot directly onto the rain barrel clockwise.

Step 5:  Assemble the Rain Barrel Frame

• Put all the poles in the slots at the bottom of the rain barrel. Make sure the holders are at the bottom.
• Lay the barrel on its side and open it up.

Step 6:  Assemble Circular Support Frame

• Insert the support frame into the inside of the rain barrel and then connect the both sides of the support frame with connectors

Step 7:  Stand the barrel up and close the lid with the zip.
