INTRODUCTION

- The materials which may come into contact with the wearer’s skin could cause allergic reactions to susceptible individuals.
- If the symbols F, B and A are not common to both ocular and the frame then it is the lower level which shall be assigned to the complete eye-protector.
- Toughened mineral filter oculars shall only be used in conjunction with a suitable backing ocular.
- Wear the goggles for the duration of exposure to hazards.
APPLICATIONS
FIELD OF USE:
This welding goggle is designed to protect the user against eye injuries
through mechanical impact. The goggle is marked on the ocular and the frame
with a series of numbers and symbols to indicate the manufacturer, the field
of use, the protection capabilities and performance characteristics of the
eye-protector. The marking of the oculars and of the frame are signified as
follows:
Cover Lens (dimension Ø50mm x 2mm) / (2”x4¼”x2mm)
Protective lens (dimension Ø50mm x 2mm) / (2”x4¼”x2mm)
Filters
The used filters must be EC/EU certified and their dimension must be Ø50mm. or
2”x4¼” The scale number must be adapted to the Relevant welding process. To
know their characteristics of protection, consult the marking and the notice
of use the filters.
Frame
OCULAR INFORMATION
- Filters – In order to protect eyes when welding, the filters must have the function to against IR. The scale number of filters for the product is 5. Shade 5 welding goggles are a type of eye protection that blocks out harmful ultraviolet and infrared light when doing gas welding or oxygen cutting operations
- Cover Oculars – dangerous gases and spatter material will threat welders. The clear cover oculars can provide some protection.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
- Clean the safety goggle before wearing it for the first time-using a clean, dry cloth, such as eyeglass cleaning cloth.
- Clean any debris from the packaging and smudges that may interfere with visibility.
- Slide the goggle over your head, sit the arched portion between the welding goggle lenses on the bridge of your nose.
- Be sure the elastic band crosses the back of your head. Adjust the fit of the welding goggle by tightening the adjustable straps on each side. Tighten or loosen the side straps until the goggle seals against your face.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Use a soft cloth and mild soap to clean. Ensure hands are clean (without grease).
- DO NOT use abrasive materials.
STORAGE
- Store in a bag or case out of direct sunlight.
- Keep the product away from chemicals and abrasive substances, in a clean dust free environment.
- DO NOT place heavy objects on top of the goggles.
OBSOLESCENCE
Inspect for damage regularly. If the product shows any signs of damage, it
must be replaced immediately. It is recommended to change the product every
1-2 years as necessary

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
