Introduction
Heavy-duty drop-forged and heat-treated steel punch body with compound lever action. Suitable for precision punching of holes in steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and plastic. Fitted with a gauge for depth adjustment up to 50mm. Suitable for materials up to 14 gauge. Punches and dies hardened to 55-60 HRC. Supplied in a storage case.

INTRODUCTION
Heavy-duty drop-forged and heat-treated steel punch body with compound lever action. Suitable for precision punching of holes in steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and plastic. Fitted with gauge for depth adjustment up to 50mm. Suitable for materials up to 14 gauge. Punches and dies hardened to 55-60 HRC. Supplied in storage case.

OPERATION
Note: Numbers in brackets refer to Fig. 1.
- Dies (1) are screwed into the lower throated handle (2) using the die key (3).
- To replace a punch (4), remove the pivot arm screw (5) and lift the upper pivot handle (6).
- Pull the upper pivot handle (6) and pivot arm (7) back away from the punch.
- Lift out the punch (4).
- Installation of a punch is the reverse of paragraphs 4.2 to 4.4 ensuring the grooved sides of the punch align with the slotted portion of the pivot arm.
- Set the throat depth gauge (8) by undoing the screw, adjusting the gauge as required and re-tightening the screw.
MAINTENANCE
- Oil the pivot points, die, and punch holes in the lower handle, to avoid excess wear.
- Keep the punches and dies well-lubricated.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories, and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling center, and
disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
