This product is warranted to the retail customer for 90 days from date of retail purchase, against defects in material and workmanship.

  • Transportation of the unit or component from the customer to Koolatron.

Our company here by declares that it is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Wrong installation or connection to the refrigerator.
  • Damage caused by overpressure and mechanical damage.
  • The refrigerator was privately modified without the permission of our company.
  • When connecting the battery, if the battery is charged with a quick charger, disconect the appliance.
  • Please confirm the description of the power supply voltage of the electrical label and ensure that the power cord is connected to the 12/24V DC power socket.
  • Disconnect the power supply before cleaning and maintenance or when not using the appliance.
  • Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
  • Failure to unplug the appliance during cleaning could result in electrical shock or personal injury.
  • Do not connect or disconnect the plug when your hands are wet. Never unplug the fridge by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance for examination, repair or replacement of any part of the freezer. See Warranty.
  • This refrigerator must not be loaded with corrosive materials or solutions.
  • Do not place the unit near heaters and gas stoves or in direct sunlight.
  • Do not use the unit in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, pool or standing water.
  • Place the refrigerator in a well ventilated location and check that the vents are not blocked.
  • Before discarding or storing, we recommend that you remove the lid and leave the shelf in place. This will reduce the possibility of danger to children.

INTENDED USE

This refrigerator can be used to keep fresh or frozen food or drinks.

It can be used in places where car or camping can provide 12/24V stable power.

FUNCTIONS

  • This refrigerator is cooled by a high-efficiency compressor, and the refrigeration cycle is fluoride free.
  • Portable design.
  • The running indicator is two-color LED lights. When the temperature of the refrigerator does not reach the temperature set point, it lights up green. When the temperature reaches the temperature set point, it lights up orange.
  • The battery protector protects the car battery and the refrigerator. When the battery voltage is too low, the power is automatically cut off; when the corresponding voltage is reached, it can be activated, high, medium and low settings. With battery protection function, you can adjust the auto start or shutdown voltage value of the refrigerator by selecting the high/medium/low positions, thus protecting the car battery from being exhausted.

MOBILE CONTROL
You can control the car refrigerator with a smart app via Bluetooth connection. LCD DISPLAY
The LCD screen can display the internal temperature of the refrigerator, fault number, and function selection.
FAULT NUMBER TABLE

  • F1 – The battery voltage is too low.
  • F2 – The battery voltage is too high.
  • F3 – Fan failure
  • F4 – Compressor over temperature protection or compressor start failure
  • F5 – Temperature probe failure

NOTE The refrigerator has a temperature memory function, and the working state before power-off is automatically restored after the next power-off, no need to set

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Wipe the inside with a cloth or sponge dampened in a warm water and baking soda solution, 30 ml (2 tbsp) baking soda to 1L (1 quart) of water.
  2. The exterior should be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened in mild detergent and warm water.
  3. Wring excess water out of the cloth before cleaning any areas that have the controls or electrical parts.

CONNECT THE REFRIGERATOR
The refrigerator can be connected to a 12/24V DC or a 110V AC power supply. Insert the cord into the DC socket on the refrigerator and plug the cigarette lighter plug into the vehicle power supply socket or other 12/24VDC socket. To use with AC power, use the supplied AC adapter.
USE BATTERY PROTECTOR (ABS)
When your vehicle battery voltage drops to the set value, the refrigerator will automatically tum off to protect the battery from over-discharge. Once the battery charge reaches the restart voltage, the refrigerator will start immediately.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS

  • Place the refrigerator in a well ventilated area away from heat or direct sunlight.
  • Only open the refrigerator door for very brief periods. Minimize the number of openings, to keep as much cold air inside as possible.
  • If a frost and/or ice layer builds up inside the refrigerator, defrost the unit as soon as practical.
  • Hot food should be allowed to cool down before being placed in the refrigerator.
  • Set the appropriate temperature to avoid unnecessary low temperature settings.

NOTE
When the battery protector is closed, the battery should be fully charged to avoid repeated restarts of the refrigerator. When the HI position is set, the battery cut-off voltage and the restart voltage are higher than the NED and LO files.
NOTE
Battery voltage is too low! When the battery voltage is too low, the battery protector plays a protective role, the refrigerator power indicator light flashes orange, and the display shows no display. Please charge the battery at this time.

SPECIFIC PARAMETERS

If the refrigerator uses the car to start the power supply, it is recommended to select the HI position to ensure that the car battery voltage is at a high state. If using extra battery power, select the LO file. When using an adapter to connect to AC power, set the battery protector to the LO position.

OPERATION

START-UP

  • Choose a stable and flat position to place the refrigerator, in a well ventilated location and check that the vents are not blocked.
  • After connecting the power, press and hold the POWER key for 3 seconds to turn on.
  • The power indicator lights up in green and the refrigerator starts to cool.

SET TEMPERATURE / SELECT BATTERY PROTECTOR GEAR

  • Press SET button once to set the temperature of the refrigerator. With the “+” and “-” buttons, you can adjust the setting temperature from +10°C to -18°C.

  • Press SET again to enter the state of Celsius and Fahrenheit. Use the “+” or “-” buttons to adjust the display Celsius or Fahrenheit.

  • Press the SET button again to enter the ABS voltage state. With the “+” and “-” buttons, you can adjust the ABS to HI, NED or LO

  • The display will flash the setting 2 times in 1 second, indicating that the setting is valid, then it will display the temperature of the center of the refrigerator.
    NOTE

  • The “+” or “-” buttons need to be used with the SET button. If the SET button has not been pressed, pressing the “+” or “-” button does not work.

SHUT DOWN

  • Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to shut down the refrigerator.
  • Unplug the 12/24V plug from the power socket.
  • When storing the unit for an extended period of time, leave the lid slightly open to prevent moisture, odours and mould from forming inside.

WARNING!
Please place the refrigerator in a well-ventilated location and check that the vents are not blocked.
DEFROST
Water vapor will form frost or ice on the inner wall of the refrigerator, which will reduce the cooling performance of the refrigerator, this should be defrosted as needed.

  • Remove the contents of the refrigerator
  • If necessary, store the contents in another refrigerator
  • Tum off the refrigerator and open the refrigerator door, keep it open until the frost melts.
  • Wipe up any moisture with a soft cloth.

REPLACING THE FUSE ON THE 12V PLUG

  • Remove the 12V plug cover
  • Remove the screws on the upper half of the case with a screwdriver
  • Carefully separate the upper and lower halves
  • Replace the original damaged fuse with a new fuse of the same specification.
  • Reinstall in the reverse order.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the unit before cleaning and maintenance. Do not use abrasive cleaning supplies or hard and sharp tools for cleaning. Always use a damp cloth to clean the inside of the refrigerator.

RECYCLING
Place the packaging material in a suitable recycling collection bin; check the local appliance recycling rules or find the local the local recycling center.
