IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: In order to avoid injury or damage, please do not try to assemble your desk alone.
It is a massive and heavy desk and requires at least two people to carry out assembly.
Please assemble on a soft surface to avoid scratches to the lacquer.

  1. Before assembling and using this product, please read this manual carefully and keep the manual properly for future reference.
  2. This product should not be used near water, i.e. Bathtub, sink, swimming pool, web basement etc.
  3. Only use a dry cloth to clean this product.
  4. Do not install this product near any heat sources, such as, radiators, heat registers, stoves or other apparatus that produce heat.
  5. Unplug this apparatus when unused for long periods.
  6. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. Nonprofessionals shall not open the power adapter.
  7. When lifting the product up or down, please be careful not to allow children and pets to get close, and the operator should be in a safe position and not drill under the workbench.
  8. It’s important to make sure the loading equipment keeps the workstation balanced to avoid injury or damage from tip-over.

OVERVIEW AND DIMENSIONS

  • The product is shipped in two packages, one with a liftable iron base and one with a wooden workbench.

ASSEMBLE THE BASE SET

  • Install two Leveling Feet (#14) on one of the Feet (#1).
  • Place the Leg (#2) upside down on the ground and secure the Feet (#1) with M6x20 Screws (#12) as shown below.
  • Repeat steps 1 to 2 to install the other Feet and Legs.
  • Turn the left leg set (with the shorter motor cable) over with the feet on the ground and prepare the Crossbeam Sleeve Pipe (#3) and Bracket (#5) as shown below.SOUND-TOWN-SDRK-SD1-Electric-Height-Adjustable-Workstation-FIG-12
  • Align the Bracket (#5) on the outside top of the Left Leg (#2), then hand over two of the Crossbeam Sleeve Pipes (#3) to be inserted into the Bracket (#5) while aligning the screw holes in the Left Leg (#2). Then, use M6x12 Screws (#11) to secure them.
  • Repeat steps 4 to 5 to install the right side of the Leg, Feet, Bracket, and Crossbeam Sleeve Pipe.
  • Insert the two Center Insert Tube (#4) into the two right Crossbeam Sleeve Pipe (#3) as shown below, then insert and slightly tighten the M6x10 Screws (#11) on the bottom just to hold the Center Insert Tube (#4).

ASSEMBLE THE ENTIRE DESK

  • Place the Main Surface (A1) on the ground with the slotted side facing upwards. Fix one end of each of the eight Metal Brackets (G1) to the slots on the A1, using M5x10 Screws (G2). Prepare the C1 & C2 as shown below.

  • Insert C1 and C2 vertically into the slots of A1 with the drawer slides facing inwards, which may need to be tightened gently with a rubber hammer. Fix the other end of the eight Metal Brackets (G1) on C1 and C2, using M5x10 Screws (G2).

  • Fix one end of each of the four metal Brackets (G1) to the top of C1 and C2 respectively withM5x10 Screws (G2), as shown below.

  • Prepare the Left & Right Base Assembly, Power Box (#6), Power Adapter (#7), and Controller (#8) as shown below.

  • Insert the Left Base Assembly into the hole in C2 as shown below until the Bracket (#5) aligns with the mounting hole in A1. Then, secure the Bracket (#5) to the Main Surface (A1) with four M6x12 Screws (#11).
    Follow the same steps to install the Right Base Assembly on the right side.

  • Pull the Center Insert Tube (#4) out of the right Sleeve Pipe (#3), and insert the other end of #4 into the left Sleeve Pipe (#3) until both ends of #4 are aligned with the centre of the round holes in the #3, then tighten all screws as shown below.

  • Place the Controller (#8) on the left front side of the A1 and secure it with the provided M4x14 screws (L2).

  • Place the Power Adapter (#7) on A1 in the position as shown below, and plug the female end of the Power Cable (#9) into the Power Adapter (#7).

  • Place the Power Box (#6) over the Power Adapter (#7) and secure the (#6) to the A1 with the provided M4x10 Screws (L1).

  • Wiring: Plug the motor wires from the left &right Leg (#2) and the 24V Power Output Cable from the Adapter (#7) into the corresponding jacks of the Controller (#8) as shown below.

  • Use the two Zip Ties (#10) to organize the cables in the manner shown below.

  • Secure Bottom Board (A3) to C1 and C2 with the Metal Bracket (G1) previously installed in step 10, locking with M5x10 Screws (G2). Then turn over the desk to a standing position.

  • Secure one end of the eight Metal Brackets (G1) to the Main Surface (A1) with M5x10 Screws (G2) as shown below.

  • Prepare the B1, B2 and B3 board as shown below.

  • Insert B1, B2 & B3 vertically into the slots on A1, and make sure the B1&B3 with the logo facing outwards.
    Secure one end of the eight Metal Brackets (G1) to the Main Surface (A1) with M5x10 Screws (G2) as shown below.

  • Install all the Rack Rails (EL, ER) on B1, B2 and B3 as shown below, note that they are fixed with G2 screws on B1&B3 while E1 screws on B2.

  • Place the Top Shelf (A4) on the ground with the slotted side facing upwards. Use G2 screws to secure the Metal Bracket (G1) on the A4 as shown below.

  • Turn over the Top Shelf (A4) and place on top of B1, B2 and B3 as shown below, then secure all G2 with G1 screws.

  • Install four Cable Grommets (F) on A4.

  • Attach the two Hook (D) to the outside of the C1 and C2 and secure with the M5x10 Screws (L3).

  • Secure A5 to A2 with G1 Metal Brackets and G2 Screws as shown below.

  • Pull out the drawer slides on C1 and C2, align the left and right side of the A2 with the drawer slide, insert the A2 and push into the very end, pulling back and forth to make sure it can move smoothly.

LIFTING AND LOWERING INSTRUCTIONS

OPERATION

  • First plug the power cord into a power outlet.

LIFTING

  • Press and hold the’ ‘ or ‘ ‘ button until the desktop reaches the desired height, then release it to stop lifting, the LED will display the real-time height.
  • Short press of the’ ‘ or ‘ ‘ button will trigger a very small lift, the LED display the real-time height.

MEMORY HEIGHT SAVING & READING

  • Saving: Press and hold the’ ‘ button to minimize the height of the desk, then press and hold ‘ ‘ button until the desktop reaches the desired height, then long press the ‘1’ button till the LED displays ‘S-1’, now the height is saved as ‘Memory height 1’. Repeat the step to save the ‘Memory height 2&3’.
  • Reading: Short press any of ‘1 / 2 / 3’ button, the LED will flash and display ‘S-1 / 2 / 3’ and the desktop will automatically reach the memorized height. (During moving, press any button that will stop lifting.)

RESET

  • Press and hold the’ ‘ button until the LED flash and displays ‘- – -‘, release the button to enter reset mode, and the desktop will automatically go to the lowest position.
