-
Voltage: Make sure your outlet voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the rating label. If this is not the case, do not use the fan.
-
Water: To protect against fire and electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or the fan itself in water or other liquids, or expose the electrical connections to water. Ensure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance. Do not use the fan outdoors or on wet surfaces. Protect the external surfaces from liquid spills.

- Assembly: Your new fan has been shipped unassembled to minimize packaging waste. It is easy to disassemble for cleaning and storage. Assembly instructions are provided on the following pages. The instructions on page 7 and the illustrations on pages 8 and 9 show how all the parts fit together.
**WARNING
**
Electric shock hazard! Do not connect the fan to power until it is ly
assembled.
Assembly of your Desk Fan
- Remove all the sub-assemblies from the box.
- Locate the stand pole on the base, and fix it with the base-fixing screw knob provided
- Locate the fan motor head onto the stand pole, tighten the stopper screw, tilt adjustment knob, main nut, and main screw to secure the fan motor head. Make sure the stopper screw goes into the slot on the stand pole.
- Screw the rear grille onto the fan motor head. Then fix the blade onto the shaft. Make sure the screw of the blade sits on the flat surface of the shaft. Then secure the front grille onto the rear grille by the hook locks and locking screw.
Operation
Using the fan
Decide on a location for the fan: convenient to a mains electrical supply
socket. Place the fan on a dry, level surface floor where it will not overturn
during use. If moving the fan to a different location, switch it off and
unplug it from the mains. Make sure the fan is switched to the OFF [ 0 ]
position, then insert the power plug into an appropriate electrical outlet and
switch on power to the outlet.
Speed selection
To switch on the fan, select the appropriate speed setting (Fig.1)
I = LOW; II = MEDIUM; Ill = HIGH; 0 = OFF. Oscillation
- To set the fan into oscillation, press down the oscillation knob on top of the motor housing (Fig. 1)
- The fan head will pivot from one side to the other. For stationary operation, pull up the oscillation knob when the air is blowing in the desired direction.
CAUTION: Do not reach across the front of the fan when operating the oscillation control to avoid the possibility of your clothing, sleeves, etc. entering and getting caught in the front guard.
Tilt adjustment
The fan head assembly can be tilted to direct the breeze upwards or downwards
to your desired angle (Fig. 2).
- Make sure the fan is unplugged from the power supply before adjusting the tilt angle.
CAUTION: Do not tilt back the fan head further than it is intended to go. Doing so will damage the unit.
Other Useful Information
WARNING
Before cleaning, maintaining or moving the fan, and before removing a front or
rear grille, switch off the fan and unplug it from the wall outlet. • Do not
immerse the fan in water or other liquids. Do not spray it with liquids. Do
not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing. Never use petrol,
solvents, harsh detergents, or abrasive or alkaline cleaners on the fan.
Cleaning and maintenance
-
Dusting: Clean your fan periodically by lightly running a vacuum cleaner nozzle (soft brush) over the front and rear grilles to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated inside or on the unit. Alternatively, use a soft, dry cloth for dusting.
-
Stubborn stains: Use a slightly damp, soapy cloth for stubborn stains but be sure the cloth is not too wet. Use caution around the motor housing. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.
-
Blade cleaning: If the blades need cleaning, first remove the front grille by loosening the fan grille securing clips along with securing screw (refer to Product Specifications Page 5) (Fig.3). Wipe the blades clean using a damp cloth, dry thoroughly. Refit the front grille and ensure all the screws and washers are inserted and tightened properly.
-
Storage: In the off-season, store the clean and dry fan in a safe, dry location, protected from dust. We recommend using the original carton for storage of the disassembled product (follow the assembly instructions in reverse order to disassemble). Alternatively, place a large plastic bag or old towel over the top of the cleaned appliance for dust protection.
-
Service/repair: The appliance requires no maintenance and contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to take the motor unit apart, repair, or modify it. Do not operate the fan if its power cord or plug is damaged, or when it is working abnormally. In case of damage or malfunction, or if the cord is damaged, have the unit repaired by trained personnel only, or contact the after-sales support line for advice on repair or replacement.
-
Before phoning for a service, please ensure that your fan is properly assembled and all parts are undamaged and in good working order. Also, ensure that the front and rear grilles are clean and free of obstructions and
