How to Attach/Detach the Lens
- Refer to your camera’s manual for specific instructions on attaching and detaching the lens. Use the focus lever and focus stop to rotate the lens, avoiding other parts to prevent functional failure.

- Screw the Lens Hood onto the threads on the front of the lens.

About Focusing
- The focus is locked at the infinity position. Press the focus lock button to release the focus lock, then use the focus lever to adjust focus.

Note on Black Painted Models
- Black-painted models are not compatible with a 6-bit code system. Adjust the lens detection setting accordingly to ensure proper recognition when used with compatible cameras.

How to attach/detach the lens
Please refer to the instruction manual for your camera for how to attach/detach the lens. When attaching and detaching, use the focus lever 9, Which is fixed at the infinity position, and focus stop * to rotate the lens. Holding and rotating other parts may cause a functional failure.
Attaching Hood
Screw the Lens Hood D to the threads on the front of the lens.
About Focusing
The focus is locked at the infinite ( ) position. Press the focus lock button 13) to release the focus lock, and then use the focus lever 9 to focus.
Rangefinder coupling
The coupled focusing range of this lens is oo ~ 0.7 m. However, the rangefinder coupling range may be different depending on the rangefinder mechanism of the camera being used.
Attaching Filter
Screw the filter (034mm) to the front of the lens.
Note on Black Painted Models
Mounts with a black paint finish are not compatible with a 6-bit code system.
The lens will not be recognized when used with cameras equipped with this system. Please set the lens detection setting to OFF (If LEICA M11 firmware is less than V1.30, Please then set 6-bit detection to AUTO).
