SAFETY

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Place the appliance on a flat stable surface and hold at least 30 cm. free space around it. Make sure the unit is placed in a upright position.
  • Make sure you place a heat resistance coating under the appliance in order to prevent traces due to heat and grease stains on your table.
  • Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
  • When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur. This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only temporary and will disappear soon.

USE

  • Turn on the appliance by turning the thermostat clockwise to the desired position, the control light will light up to indicate that the appliance is heating up.
  • When the temperature which belong to the set position is reached, the control light will turn off.
  • Note: While in use, the temperature light will go on and off in order to maintain the correct temperature.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Warning: Before cleaning the appliance, always switch it off, unplug it from the electricity supply and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
  • Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances.
