USAGE NOTES

Do not use power supply with a voltage higher than SV , cause damage to the player.

• Listen at high volume for ong periods of time, may damage your hearing.

•  Avoid using t in the following cases:
  – Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves.
  – In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc.
  – In very dusty places.
  – In places subject to strong vibrations.
  – Position the appliance n such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5 cm).

• Do not block the air nlets.

• If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug t immediately from the socket and take t to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.

• Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.

• No naked flame sources, such as ighted candles, should be placed on this.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object filled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.

• Keep this manual for future reference.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For cleaning t is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive substances.
IMPORTANT
The construction of this device guarantees long flawless operation. However, f come some
problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center.
TREVI pursues a policy of continuous research and development. Therefore, the products
may show different characteristics from those described.

WARNING FOR A CORRECT USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERY

• Recharge the battery n an ambient temperature between s·c and 35°C.
• Don’t recharge more than the suitable period to prevent the risk of overheating and burst.
• Recharging the battery over the suitable period or an extended period of inactivity may reduce battery duration.
• Rechargeable battery is iable to wear and tear and its performance will reduce gradually.
• To extend the duration of the battery use t when is completely charged up to the complete discharging, then recharge it fully before use it again. Recharge a battery not completely consumed, will result a reduced duration. n this case, repeat the full charging/discharging cycle many times.
• Avoid recharge the battery for the whole night.

CONTROLS

1. + button, Volume +/Next track button.

2. – button, Volume -/Previous track button.

3.  button:
   – Long press to power On/Off.
   – Long press 8 seconds for reset.
   – Press one time for Play/Pause.
   – Press 2 times to select different mode.

4. Micro SD mmory nput.

5. Led ndicator:
   – Red Led: when charging.
   Led off: when charging s completed.
   – Blue Led: Flashing slowly in playing music. Stop flashing when pause music.
   If use both 2 speaker, stop flashing Led when not connected device.
   If use only 1 speaker, flashing Led quickly when not connected device.

CHARGING
The speaker must be recharged when switched off.

1. Using the supplied USB/Type-C cable, connect the end with the type-C to the type-C port (8) of the speaker and the other end to the USB port of a USB charger (5V 1A not included);

2. The indicator (5) will ight up red to indicate the charging status of the speaker.
   When fully charged, the Led indicator will turn off;

3. Repeat the operation with the other speaker.
   Note:
   When the battery is low, the voice message will heard, a few times before the device switches off automatically.
   To protect the performance of the battery, avoid using the machine while charging.
   The machine has no power bank function, it is forbidden to connect other devices through the USB interface.

BASIC OPERATION

To switch On the speaker, long press the button (3).
Press 2 times the button (3) to choose from:

• Bluetooth mode (both speakers can work for stereo playback).
• Micro SD card mode (only one speaker works), f a micro SD memory card is inserted into the Micro SD port (4), the speaker will start playing music automatically.
• AUX mode (only one speaker works), if the AUX In cable is inserted nto the input (7). Start playback from the external device.

To switch Off the speaker:

• In Bluetooth mode, f the speakers are connected to each other, ong press the on/ off button (3) of one of the two speakers to turn them both off.
• In the other modes, long press the button (3) of speaker used.

Press once the+ button (1) or the – button (2) to increase or decrease the volume.

BLUETOOTH OPE     RATION

1. Power on two speakers and the default setting s the Bluetooth mode, the Blue Led light flashes (a sound is heard confirming the speaker is set nto Bluetooth pairing mode);
2. The 2 speakers will connect automatically;
3. Turn on your mobile phone’s Bluetooth, search for the “XR 8A44 DOUBLE”;
4. Find the anme “XR 8A44 DOUBLE” and enter the PIN “0000” f requested;
5. Once pairing s complete, you will hear a confirmation sound and the blue Led indicator (5) will remain solid blue. Now s possible to play the music tracks.

Notes:

• The Bluetooth speaker only works with o connection at a time, the connection can not be interrupted during normal operation.
• When the Bluetooth pairing with external devices fails, delete another Bluetooth device in the list of connections, restart the Bluetooth speaker and search for the signal again.

CONTROLS AVAILABLE IN BLUETOOTH MODE MUSIC PLAYBACK

• Press and hold the – (2) or+ (1) button to skip to the previous or next song;
• Press one time the (3) button to pause or resume the playback.

USING A MICRO SD CARD

1. Switch On the speaker;
2. Insert a micro SD card into the micro SD card slot (4) keeping the electrical contacts facing the AUX socket. Playback will start automatically;
3. Press and hold the – (2) or+ (1) button to skip to the previous or next song;
4. Press one time the (3) button to pause or resume the playback.

AUX IN

1. Switch On the speaker;
2. Connect the Jack/Jack audio cable to the AUX IN nput (7), you will hear a notification sound, and the other end to the external device;
3. Start playback from the external device.

INFORMATION ON THE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES
Warning: the operation of removal and disposal is reserved to technical personnel!
Whatever type of battery used up, t should never be placed n household waste, fire or water. Each type of used battery must be recycled or disposed of at an appropriate dedicated collection points.
To remove the battery:

1. Remove the cover grill above the speakers by levering one of the two sides;
2. Unscrew all the screws present and separate the front part of the furniture from the rear part. Pry between the two pieces of furniture, being very careful not to damage the plastic hooks;
3. Identify the battery, remove ts fasteners and replace it with one of the same characteristics and capacity.

Precautions for correct disposal of the product.
The symbol shown on the equipment indicates that waste must be disposed of in “sepa­- rate collection” and so the product must not be disposed of together with urban waste. The user must take the product to special “separate waste collection centres” provided
by local government, or deliver t to the retailer against the purchase of a new product.
Separate collection of waste and subsequent treatment, recycling and disposal operations promotes the production of equipment with recycled materials and imits negative effects on the environment and on health caused by improper handling of waste.
Illegal disposal of the product leads to the enforcement of administrative penalties.
