Important Safety Information

WARNING
Not suitable for aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog displays aggressive behavior or has a history of aggression. Aggressive dogs can cause serious injury, or even death, to their owners and others. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or a certified trainer.

CAUTION
To avoid injury caused by improper use, please read the user manual carefully before using this product. Proper fitting of the collar is important. Wearing a collar for too long or making it too tight around the pet’s neck can cause skin damage, ranging from redness to pressure ulcers, which are commonly known as bed sores.

  • Don’t leave the receiver on the dog for more than 12 hours daily.
  • Reposition the receiver on your dog’s neck every 1-2 hours if possible.
  • Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual.
  • Never connect a leash to the electronic collar as it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts.
  • Avoid putting pressure on the electronic collar when using a separate collar for a leash.
  • Wash the dog’s neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth.
  • Check the contact area daily for signs of a rash or sore.
  • If a rash or sore is found, discontinue the use of the collar until the skin has healed.
  • Safety during on-leash training is of utmost importance. It is crucial that both you and your dog stay safe during the learning process. Your dog should be on a sturdy leash that is long enough for him to try and chase after an object, but not so long that he can reach a road or any other unsafe area. Additionally, you should have the physical strength to control your dog when he tries to chase after something.
  • This pet training device is not a toy and should be kept away from children.

Find Your Dog’s Recognition Level

(Note: Every dog is different and you cannot predict where your dog’s Recognition Level will be. Watch closely for any slight change in behavior that tells you your dog is feeling the stimulation.)

  1. With the Collar Receiver turned on and properly fitted to your dog, set the Remote Transmitter’s Intensity Dial at Level 1 and press the Continuous Stimulation Button for 1 to 2 seconds.
  2. If your dog shows no reaction to Level 1, go to Level 2 and repeat the process.
  3. YOUR DOG SHOULD NOT VOCALISE OR PANIC WHEN RECEIVING STIMULATION. IF THIS HAPPENS, THE STIMULATION LEVEL IS TOO HIGH AND YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AND REPEAT THE PROCESS. OR MOVE TO A LOWER STIMULATION RANGE (SEE BELOW)
  4. Once you find your dog’s Recognition Level, this is the level you should use when you begin a training exercise.
  5. If you have progressed to the highest level while searching for your dog’s Recognition Level and your dog continues to show no response, check to see if Collar Receiver is snug against your dog’s neck. Then go back to Intensity Level 1 and repeat the process. If your dog still does not indicate he is feeling the stimulation, you have two options: you may either have to trim the hair beneath the Contact Points or switch to the longer Contact
    Points included in your system.

Training Tips

  1. Rewarding your dog with food or treats usually helps achieve the best training results.
  2. Do not use the device on dogs under 6 months old, pregnant, easily frightened, aggressive, in heat, or with inferior health conditions.
  3. Use verbal commands first and supplement with corrective stimulus only as needed. Be consistent with your verbal commands and use the same words every time. Work on one behavior at a time with your pet to avoid confusion and frustration.
  4. Use as little stimulus as possible and only to reinforce verbal commands when necessary. Do not over-correct your dog.
  5. For example, use the beep sound as a warning by pressing the beep button. The dog will become conditioned to the beep preceding the corrective stimulus and will soon learn to recognize the beep as a warning along with your verbal command.
  6. Do not rely solely on this product to train your dog. Some dogs may not respond to this product, and we cannot guarantee its effectiveness on your dog. If your dog shows signs of growling, biting, or aggression while using the collar, discontinue use immediately and contact a professional trainer for advice.
  7. It is recommended to train one dog at a time in a distraction-free environment to increase efficiency and avoid temptation or distraction from other dogs.

  2. When cleaning, use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use hard brushes, as they can scratch the surface of the devices.

  3. If the Receiver gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth.
Note: While the Receiver is waterproof, it should not be submerged in water for extended periods.

  4. If there are any residues around the charging port’s rubber lid, wipe them clean to prevent water from seeping in.
