Your Computer model may be ENERGY STARRcomphant. If the model you purchased is
compliant. the ENERGY STAR logo and the following informaticap-plies. Hypertax
is a partner in the ENERGY STAR Program and has designed this computer to meet
the latest ENERGYSTAR guidelines for energy efficiency. Your computer ships
with the power management options preset to acontiguration that will provide
the most stable operating environment and optimum system performance for both
AC power and battery modes. To conserve energy, your computer is set to enter
the low-power Sleep Mode which shuts down the system and display within 15
minutes of inactivity in AC power mode. Hypertax recommends that you leave
this and other energy saving features active. so that your computer will
operate at its maximum energy efficiency. You can wake the computer from Sleep
Mode by pressing the power button. Your ENERGY STAR certified computer should
be set by default to enter a low-power ‘sleep mode after a period of
inactivity. Simply touching the mouse or keyboard -wakes-the computer in
seconds. These sleep features can save you up to $23 per year (200 kWh per
year in electricity)and prevent up to 300 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions
annually. To learn how to adjust or activate these sleep settings on your
computer, please go to:

B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may
cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Caution: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
FCC Caution:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
RF Exposure Information
This device meets the governments requirements for exposure to radio waves.
This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for
exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications
Commission of the U.S. Government.
The exposure standard employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. Tests for
SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with
the EUT transmitting at the specified power level in different channels. The
FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this device with all reported
SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR
information on this device is on file with the FCC and can be found under the
Display Grant section of
www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid.
To ensure that RF exposure levels remain at or below the tested levels, use a
belt clip, holster, or similar accessory that have no metallic component in
the assembly.
Body-worn SAR testing has been carried out at a separation distance of 0mm.
To meet RF exposure guidelines during body-worn operation, the device should
be positioned at least this distance away from the body.
Operation of transmitters in the 5.925-7.125 GHz band is prohibited for
control of or communications with unmanned aircraft systems.
The device for the band 5150-5350 MHz is only for indoor usage to reduce
potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems
IC Radiation Exposure Statement
This device complies with Industry Canadas licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause
interference; and (2) This device must accept any interference, including
interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
This EUT is compliance with SAR for general population/uncontrolled exposure
limits in IC RSS-102 and had been tested in accordance with the measurement
methods and procedures specified in IEC/IEEE 62209-1528.
To maintain compliance with ISED RF exposure requirements, use only belt-
clips, holsters or similar accessories that does not contain metallic
components
in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements
may not comply with ISED RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.
Devices shall not be used for control of or communications with unmanned
aircraft systems
